  1. 322 5" x 7" signs needed

I would print/laminate (or cut/weed/tape) and apply in whole sheets to .040 or 3mm ACM (butt fit together, not spaced out), then haul across town to a friends shop with a step shear to split apart into individual pieces.
  2. Font ID - Big Valley Towing

Helvetica Bold might get you close enough....
  3. letters curlling up after print lam cut

Do this all the time with IJ180cv3/8918 combo. If we allow it to air dry/cure overnight before laminating it doesn't curl.
  4. Real Estate Frames 20x30

http://www.deesign.com/realestatesigns/SignDisplay/signdetails.cfm?Franchise=7&Model=IND215&SignSize=ANY&Focus=SF&SignCategory=slip-inyardsigns As a heads up, Dee signs sells direct to realtors, they don't like to have sign people as middlemen.
  5. Real Estate Frames 20x30

I have never come across such a thing, even in my old Bull Steel catalog. There was a 20x28 with double-rider though...
  6. Blank Banner

Custom Banner & Media in Rochester, NH makes fantastic over the street banners for us that have never failed. They also ship same or next day.
  7. price fixing or not?

In this case, I'm pretty sure they only sell through the local distributors. If you call them to order a face they will ask which distributor to send/bill it through. It does make for a more level playing field though. Other than having to deal with customers who always fuss about the high cost...
  8. Wet lamination

I will sometimes wet apply laminate to a small print, when I dont want to bother changing out the film in my machine. The trick is to tape the print down to your table all the way around firmly. The prevents most of the fluid from getting around to the back side. You will still need to flip it...
  9. Please ID This Font

The sample you gave is an identical match to A&S Marquee Ext, it's not even stretched or squashed.
  10. Happy birthday jillbeans

  12. Newest member of our sign family

After waiting for 41 weeks and 1 day my 2nd (both daughters)has arrived! Born this past Wednesday morning and clocking in at 8lbs 3oz, & 21.5 inches long. We have named her Katherine (Kait) Lydia (In the photo of us packed into the car to go home you can see a car that our shop decorated for...
  13. Railroad Font Help Please

For what it's worth, I have that exact wavy flag, but minus the pole. We painstakingly traced it out to reproduce for a very good client a few years back. You are welcome to it if you want, just email me: ted at minutemansigns dot com That font looks like some thing Futura to me...
  14. #2

On the rare occasion that we have been brought a big stack of coro signs to grommet, we charged $.60 each. Generally though it's just included as a value added service on whatever sign that wants them.
  15. The good reverend is now sending artwork.

My favorite part is that they have no idea that no one in the state is likely to order soccer banners and the word "football" on them....
  16. Need a favor to convert a .PLT file

Welcome to the forum! It would be super handy for some people if that worked. I just checked and Inkscape lists the PLT format as "HP Graphics Language Plot File" which is apparently a different thing and only gave me error messages on every Gerber PLT file I tried to throw at it.
  17. A is not playing nice!

The A also reminds me of something CASLON, but then the other characters are not as close a match.
  18. A is not playing nice!

My best guess is something in the CHELTENHAM family....
  19. Sign Fail

I would caution that so far, everyone on here has said to never use 3M Primer 94 with any Oracal vinyls, just doesn't work and makes it worse. ...could always be exceptions though.
  20. First truck lettering with cut vinyl in panels

I would use horizontal seams, not vertical, and install the bottom one first, then work up. 1/2" seam is probably over kill, we usually use 1/8" on cast vinyl, though 1/4" might be ok too. Further, in this design you only need to seam the logo art, all the copy can be cut seamless, just break...
