That looks completely made up....... and by someone who didn't know what they were doing.
  2. News Something some of you might want to rethink................................

How 'bout where to actually hold the hammer and the handle is only for putting in your belt ?? That's been something I see people do all the time and for the life of me, when I say something, I get that look like a deer looking into your headlights gaze.
  3. How often do you replace pinch rollers?

Just replaced our two outside pinchers about 2 months ago. The unit was purchased in 2005. Roland SP 540-V...... and now it cuts like a champ, again.

If he's pulling them out and stripping them...... then, he is not using enough muscle.
  7. Installation Question

Physical fasteners whenever possible..... especially if on a moving vehicle.
  8. Dont sit and spin....

You need to be sure you are using the correct screw or fastener for the job at hand. Also, the Phillips screw bits of today are the total pits in my opinion. They lose their crispness almost immediately, unless you are working with soft woods. The constant heavy pressure is key. I too, am...
  9. Christmas time is soon for me....

I would think if you are gonna create that much dust, you would have everyone leave the room, close it off and clean up in any manner you choose after your'e finished. Heck, if I'm even pouncing a pattern on an interior wall, they vacate.
  10. Where does your state rank?

  11. Christmas time is soon for me....

You shoulda called Moze..... I'll betcha he already has one. You'll be abler to do this with one letter left over, by their standards.
  12. News Something some of you might want to rethink................................

Here's a somewhat long video, but interesting facts all the way through. Do yourself a favor and watch it til the end. You'll learn quite a bit. When I heard the part about the hammer, I almost flipped out at his insight.............
  13. Pre Cut Sign Panels

At that size, it's not worth bothering with at all. Between chemicals, elbow grease and swearing time, you could buy 3 new pieces of substrate and still come out ahead. Denatured alcohol is about the least harmful.
  14. Pre Cut Sign Panels

The stuff they sell, generally isn't sign white type material. If you go that route, be sure to check if it's translucent or not. There are several types of acrylic with varying degrees of opacity. You need a lotta light to be able to pass through without allowing you to see the lamps within...
  15. Pre Cut Sign Panels

Yes, many do. Your needs would be considered a quarter sheet. Many places will offer 1/4..... 1/2 or full sheet prices. You'll hafta ask your local vendors.
  16. Pre Cut Sign Panels

If this is indoors, acrylic would be fine. If outside, at that size, you'd still be good, but could upgrade to poly carbonate if you'd like. At that size, just about any sign supply house will have it. Glantz..... ??
  17. They just dont make good stuff anymore....

:softwareAhh..... toad, you better read up on your facts and understand them, before you just regurgitate your left-winged baloney.
  18. Dry time before cutting?

I imagine you're running at a high/fine output, so more ink would be going down, but I too, think 2 days is overkill. I would think maybe an hour would be more than enough. Like he said, try it at a few intervals and see what the results bring ya.
  19. Artwork and sales question

signbrad....... all that is well and good, but to get anyone to read all of that is next to impossible, let alone for a customer...... and you're just at the tip of the iceberg. with that little bit of reading. While everything you said is true, most people will just turn, walk out and go to...
