My trusty HP 5500PS with UV inks (purchased in 2006) is getting "long in the tooth" and I am looking around for a replacement BEFORE it decides to up & die.
I don't do any wraps or installs and generally stick to 24" x 36" or under for sizes as my arms are only so long. I don't do fine art...
GREAT! Thanks! That is a place to start...I didn't think of using just
vinyl lettering. Of course, they want a royal blue ribbon with white
lettering. So I will have to see if blue ribbon is available somewhere.
I have a customer that is needing one Grand Opening Ribbon.
They need a 4" wide (or even 6") by 35 foot long ribbon with
about 10' of wording in the center...where it will be cut at the
Grand Opening.
Has anyone tried to heat press onto ribbon?
I guess I would have to find a source for the...
Wow, 3/8" isn't much to work with....the name badge magnets
may work and are very strong...but they will need to be
attached/glued by hand...and will make the nameplates stand-off
the surface of the rack a bit. They may be too wide though.
Some of the Home Improvement Stores carry rolls of...
Yes, most of us here are pretty experienced at providing proper art files...
a $45 set-up fee is rather steep and just obscures the REAL price of
your goods. At the standard 30-40% mark up this means we need to charge
our customer an additional $60-65 for set-up on top of our own design...
Give Josh with BigFish Digital Media a call 714-369-3321.
He can answer all your questions about this printer.
He has some great prices on the inks, printheads and
substrates.
Sigh...this art canvas printing was sounding neat....
BUT, in today's sales circulars, Wally-World and also one
of the Big Box Pharmacies are offering canvas prints
mounted "gallery style" - $20 for an 11x14",
$25 for a 16x20".
What's next....drive thru tattoos?

Here is just one link to a Pet Insurance comparison chart.
Most of what I hear on pet insurance is good if you choose
wisely.
Much depends on how old your pet is, what breed, what size,
and how much insurance coverage...
GREAT! I prefer to deal with one of our merchant members!
We all win.
I think this printhead was damaged due to a nasty paper jam.
It's on the left end, hit the paper edge and the paper crumpled up.
I get a 3515 replace printhead code.
I managed to coax it to work for a few posters but
it...
After many years, my HP 5500 UV needs a new light cyan
printhead & printhead cleaner. #83
Anyone have a good source for this or do I have to deal
directly with HP?
OEM or other?
:thankyou: for any help or suggestions.
So sorry Eric.
Many years ago I used to raise and show Lhasas...
even the death of a newborn pup hurt.
I'm down to 2 boys now 10 and 14. It doesn't get any easier
to lose one. They become such a big part of our lives so fast.
And yes, the vet bills are getting overwhelming...I advise anyone...
Debt free....you can design then sub-out the printing.
FIND GOOD RELIABLE VENDORS/PARTNERS.
Let the vendor pay for new equipment/upgrades/repairs/supplies.
When you see that you have enough continual business to keep

I would think you could rig something simple up with
the vinyl coated closet shelving sold at most big box
hardware stores. It comes in different widths flat or
with turned edges.
Yup...it worked for Apple...you could be passing up a great
opportunity...or a total waste of time.

Sometimes these people are not too connected to reality.
Find out what it is he is planning....if you get a good vibe...
it MAY be worth a try. What do you lose other than a bit

This doesn't make sense to me...I must be missing a step here.
If you can't weed it...how does your customer get it off the liner
and onto the computers?
Thank you Dan.
Today is Wednesday and UPS just delivered the 4 banners
I ordered and designed online Sunday morning.
The quality is great and the turn-around is quite fast.
This was a good deal. Hopefully your future trade only
wholesale site continues with the good quality and
trade...
Custom Rubber Stamps aren't going to make you a bunch of $$$.
You could open a wholesale account with Roanoke Stamp & Seal in
Virginia or Jackson Marking Products...but there isn't much real
demand for them.

Dan,
I just took advantage of your offer and ordered 4 banners.
The BOGO pricing is great and I appreciate the online design,
backgorunds and templates! Your clipart could use some
upgrading though.
I would love to see the quality of your coro signs...that is
something I haven't been...
Yup...if they don't have a resume, I have them fill out an application before
they can add my business to their unemployment form. In the past we
have had the unemployment office and the jail work release office call
and verify someone applied.
A few weeks back one guy asked if we were...
You know, reading this thread now is futile.
I feel left out! I only see the logo version now
appearing at the top and haven't a clue what all the
comments are about.

I think it's time for "Occupy Signs 101" because many
of us were disenfranchised.
