    If you can pull cleaning solution thru the captop (move the print carriage to the left), and can pull ink from the damper, but can not pull when print carriage is in its' home position, then more than likely the head itself is clogged. Just my .02

    Same access code is used for the XC and LEF. If your getting service mode protected message, that means either you didn't input the right sequence, or the timing was off when pushing the arrows. Just my .02

    What size media are you trying to use? Have seen where peeps try to save scraps to use, and if it's not wide enough to cover the sensor (which is kinda in the middle of the platen) then the printer will say no media even with media loaded. Just my .02

    Confirm that both printers have "Full Width" scan enabled. I ran into a color shift on solid color panels, and the cure was Full Width enable. When disabled, the heaters never really reset thus causes swings in temps, which effect the dot gain. Just my .02

    I would suggest using the cleaning solution for the brand of Ink you are flushing out. I have seen 1st hand where a customer thought they were getting a discount on cleaning carts, only to have the cleaning solution coagulate with the ink tubing and became a solid ink line. Just my .02

    If you have some age on the printer, it's possible that enough paper fragments has collected on the fan blade, and causing the blade not to spin. Remove the dryer shield/cover and free up the blade. Versaworks will over ride any settings at the panel. Just my .02

    Have you tried a different Jet Best Cart? Perhaps the issue is with the chip on the cart. I would try a OEM ink cart to see if you get the same error, also clean the chip on the Jet Best with rubbing alcohol. Just my .02
