thank you so much My black ink hasn't been printing since november, I replaced the maintenance station, and still nothing, but after reading this thread, I checked the fuse. And thank God it was bad, I replaced it and it prints great. Thanks everyone for the excellent advice.

I have been using oracal 651 for years. It is an intermediate vinyl, and does the job. The oracal 751 is a high performance vinyl. I have heard from other people that the 651 shrinks, but I have never had a problem with it. Maybe its because I am at a higher elevation.

It might be easier just to redraw it. I've spent a lot of times searching for a clean image, and sometimes it's just quicker to trace it.

It just makes sense to me, that if someone has encountered the same problem and has a solution, then by all means share the wealth. It is not necessary to be rude. Just my opinion, and by the way I have read the manual. The problem I was having wasn't in there.

Got it. I called scanvec and they told me to delete printer and then add it back. Worked great. Thanks for all the input. Except for the read the fu***ng book. That was uncalled for.

yeah, when I do a nozzle check, the black will not print.

how do I go about figuring out the rips?

we even soaked the print head and did the syringe thing, still nothing

the dampner has ink and if I do a cleaning, I can see the ink go to the waste bottle. The weird thing is, if I convert my flexi file to a bitmap, it will print black.

I changed my maintenance station, dampners, print heads, and it printed fine for one day, and now it won't print black. Please help, I don't know what else to do.
