  1. Does your sign company have a website?

Yep, lots of new stuff coming soon. It just seems hard to find time to keep working on it. http://www.jenkinswoodcraft.com
  2. new and need help with printer

Sometimes subbing out some of your work makes the most sense. Remember if they mess up a print - you don't get charged for it. But if you have the equipment and you mess of the print - it costs you.

Hey, I used to have a Stika - bought the 12" version when it first came out. It was good, but still pretty limiting if you are used to a full sized plotter. Welcome to the forums!
  7. New Member with invoice software question

Quickbooks is great - I can vouch for that. I currently do estimates pretty manually, I need to look at making that a more automated process.
  8. New member from Bay Area CA

Welcome from Vancouver, WA And don't go cheap - you will regret it. I bought a Master XY380-P, and have hated that piece since I bought it. I just ordered a real plotter, and wish I could get back all the hours of my life that the cheap plotter has wasted away! By the best plotter you can...

  13. Hi everyone, here from Fitchburg, MA

I would go with a heat gun (hair dryer if you don't have access to one) and rapid remover - which will remove the stickiness.
  14. Master Cutter and then......

I've got the same cutter and I am pretty much buying a new plotter this week. I have some of the same issues. The plotter cuts random lines through the work, and will always zap you when you walk by and touch it. I would agree that with this plotter static is an issue, but only one issue - I...

Thanks everyone. GraphiXtreme we have done quite a few projects with it. My Dad and I also do quite a bit of wood working, so that is part of what we use it for. My dad just made a new oak coffee table and cut out the shape of the top, cut tendons on the legs. I've got a knock-down shelf...

  17. Hell

Welcome Welcome from Vancouver, WA. I have some friends that just opened up a Lousiana style Crawfish restaurant in Portland. Never had crawfish, so I've got to go try it.
  18. New to the forums, Vancouver, WA...

Hey everyone. I found this forum when doing some research on a problem I was having with my current plotter. I have to say I am impressed with the wealth of knowledge here. I run a side business in Vancouver, WA doing signs with my Dad. It's been fun - he has also invested in a ShopBot PRT...
  19. Refurbished or New FC7000-75

I was looking at a Graphtec FC7000-75 refurbished or new Graphtec FC7000-75MK2 for when I upgrade my plotter. Anyone buy a refurbished one? Any issues or downsides to that? You can save a good chunk of money by buying refurbished, and after searching the forums it doesn't appear there is a huge...
  20. Which CNC table

We bought a ShopBot PRT and have since upgraded it to a PRT alpha. It is great. We have cut shapes, routed signs, built furniture, and many other miscellaneous projects (you can always find something to do with it!). If you are interested in Shopbot they have a great forum and network of...
