I did 1000 yesterday. It was a pain but I too used a straight edge and cut them apart. I recomend you to put on some music or your favorite podcast to keep you entertained while doing this "braindead" work.

We have two VersaCamm's and a Graphtec FC7000. After laminating cutting is usually done really fast, so we still do it on the VersaCamm. VersaWorks also makes it really easy to cut after printing, so it doesnt take much time at all. We use the FC7000 for cutting only. We havent had much trouble...

Its not only Corel that has trouble with transparancy. If you create a eps in Illustrator that has transparancy and a cutline, the cutline will be printed in magenta insted of beeing cut. I have usually created two files, one for printing and one for cutting, when this has happened.
