This morning the black cartridge ran out so I replaced it with a new one. Half-way through the next print instead of printing black it started to print a dark green and the other colors ie red seemed faded. Any ideas?

I have a Valujet Printer that all of a sudden has started printing very lightly. I performed some of the cleaning and let it self clean, but still no change. Any suggestions??

I accidently changed my origin start point from Upper right to Lower left and cannot remember how to switch it back, any help?? Thanks

Recently the last couple prints it seems that the ink is smudging from either the print head or something else while im printing. I uploaded a picture of what it looks like. I've been cleaning it following the manufacturers instructions but the problem persists. Any help would be appreciated.

Here's two examples of signs printed where the ink comes out blotchy. Could the head height have something to do with this?

Here's an example of a sign we just printed out. Everything was printed on white 3m prismatic.

I have been printing directly onto the prismatic recently and letting it dry longer with the heaters turned up and the results have been pretty decent. I do have transparent vinyl so im going to give that a try and let you guys know.

I assumed that some of them were screened but then again if your mass producing all these signs do you really have time to screen all of them. As for the heaters mine are set at 40 42 and 49.

I've had some success printing on it but the quality is just not where i want it. I was just wondering if anyone knew because the premade signs we order such as pedestrian crossing are printed on the prismatic material and seem fine.

Hi i was wondering if anyone had any experience printing on 3m engineer grade prismatic sheeting. I'm trying to print street signs (stop, yield etc...) but when i print on the material the ink seems to be blotchy and uneven in spots. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Pete

I called signwarehouse and got things straightened out with it printing 200% and got a profile that seems to be printing fine now. i was wondering if anyone had ever printer on 3m reflective material and could suggest a profile to use (flexisign). Thanks Jim

This is a new unit and some of the images print fine blue is blue red is red etc..but for some reason in the more color intensive prints the colors seem dark. I assume im not using the correct profile. The material im printing on is 3M engineer grade reflective sheeting and Avery Opaque Vinyl...

Thanks. Actually i figured out that the cable i was using wasn't a cross-over cable therefore the printer and computer weren't able to communicate.

Using our VJ-1204 we are having problems connecting it to the computer. I followed the document to set it up and was able to print once. Now when i try to send a job to the printer i recieve the message "Cannot open port" in my production manager. I've double checked the IP settings in the...
