  1. Political/election templates - where to purchase?

Doing just that! Just thought with so many "standard" type designs out there all these years... just thought someone was smart enough to put them all together in one place and sell them so the wheel doesn't have to be recreated. After all it's not "fine" art. and All I did was ask a simple...
  2. Political/election templates - where to purchase?

Hmmm think I've done pretty well for a few years in the sign business and finally turning my hobby of engraving into a successful business as well. Seems my theory is correct. Hard work equals success.
  3. Political/election templates - where to purchase?

Perhaps I would be a more active "stand-up" forum member (like I am on the glass and stone engraving forums) if it were not for those individuals who think they are God's gift to signs with the primary agenda of putting others down. If you want to sit in awe of how helpful I can be - visit one...
  4. Political/election templates - where to purchase?

I looked at your profile as it is listed below and was wondering who you are to judge if I should be here or not. You look at my profile and ASSumed I was trying to avoid paying a sign shop? You have never seen my work, have no idea what I do, and have no right to judge wheather I should be here...

  6. Political/election templates - where to purchase?

Quite possibly my time is better spent other than design simple layouts for a catalogue of them that already exists. My house needs to be cleaned also ... but at $10/hour I'll have someone else do it because it is cheaper than me doing it Not because I can't do it. Make sense fella? If you must...
  7. Political/election templates - where to purchase?

I have 19 towns in one county who are banding together to get them so I though I'd like to offer them a catalogue of 50 or so to choose from rather than spend the time designing 50 of them...especially idf they are already available for purchase. And it has nothing to do with "thin Skin" it...
  8. Political/election templates - where to purchase?

You guys are all high and mighty...lol... ya want a real laugh - check out my brochures on my website. Doubt any of you can make signs in stone. Truth be told I'm so busy doing a multitude of things...that "this guy" doesn't want to waste his $100/sq ft time designing simple template signs with...

  12. CleanCut Blades AWESOME!!

The difference is the angle of the blade. The 60 degree blades are used to cut thicker materials of vinyl or sandblast mask. Of course the plotter needs enough down force to cut the thicker stuff. Many cheap plotters will not cut the thick sandblast mask. Hope that helps. Kevin
  13. lexon broke

If it were me I would replace the piece rather than cobb it. But thats just me. Also 1/8" is too thin for 9'. It should be 1/4" or better yet 3/8".

You can try the cradle tool or the yard sign tool. I don't know what size the graphic your referring to is. Both those work well for me tho.
  16. Software stupor

There are excelent tutorials offered by the guy who does them for Corel. He is in Australia I think and it goes under the name "Click-N-Learn". When I got Corel I bought (downloaded) his tutorials (I normally used AI) for I think $49 USD. They are pretty good. I think he calls it the "workplace...
  17. The Secrets of Tangential

Using that cut method results in nice cuts, but it is extremely slow, and I mean painfully slow. Kevin
