Hi all I have a Mutoh 1304w and would like to print florescent yellow and pink onto transfer paper. I am using the Onyx RIP. How should I go about profiling this ink? Any pointers would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!

They are the same head. The part that differs is the manifold, the black plastic part on top the head. This is made from a solvent resistant material on the heads for solvent machines.

Printhead is shot.You need replacemnt he and cable at the least.

One of the things that gets overlooked is the one way valve built into the connector to the damper. This I've noticed (particulary with black) blocks or sticks and this can give you drop out. Before changing pumps ect. try changing this part.

If you are told that a third party ink will dam,age your printer I suggest you ask the OEM & third party supplier for copies of their MSDS. Then you can see what solvents are in each ink

The machine I had was good to go from the start. Build the stand, Bolt the printer onto the stand, disconnect some brackets and that was it for twiddling wrenches.. Then all that was needed was to flush the lines, ect. with the OEM solvent from the supplied cartridges, put in the ink...
