I have a Roland xr640 and always fought this as well as previous Rolands. I have graphtec plotters and had a good Graphtec guy show me my plotters track way better than my print/cut machine..
Red cross is the real deal. I went to do clean up after Hurricane Fran. They do good work, They provided meals and water when we could not get any. We donated daily.
I figured on some interesting responses for this particular logo. I have several designers working for me and are usually very careful but they don't quite agree on this one. I may post what I'm talking about just for fun. It did make me wonder the actual basis used on anybody that was busted...
I have a customer that basically wants to use the Hillary H for the beginning of his name and "I'M WITH HIM." I just want to know how much it would have to be changed to be legal. I am thinking it is not a good idea to do but want concrete basis to decline or give them an option.
Just thought I might add some info on non compete. I have seen one broken and then because it was not done correctly and was no use, and i have seen the proper fix. The main issue is you must be paid to sign the non-compete and it must be "due consideration" or enough to justify signing it. I...
Southeastern sign supply does good for us, so far just on Rolands. If they don't support your printer I'm sure they would steer you in the right direction.
We have run so much that is at least 48" I would think after getting a smaller one you would regret it. I would recommend also getting one with a warranty or service agreement even if you have to hold out linger and get prints wholesale to you. I bought a used printer first and spent a bunch...
In NC we charge tax to the tax exempt like anyone else, they file a paper with the state to get it back. I offer the same to those who can't find their tax number or forgot it, bring it in and I will refund it.
I was about to buy one and the dealer said the print speed is about half of my vp540 if the machine is set up with mt and white. Anyone know how the speed is? They said if it was set up cmyk cmyk it would be faster than the vp but, if set up with white and mt it was about half as fast and...

Haven't been on for a while, thought I would catch up and study. We are in central NC. Moved my business home for a couple years while the economy tanked. My rent got doubled at the same time so we lowered overhead for a while and survived by keeping up some wholesale accounts. Just rented a...
Thanks for the welcome. Someone asked about the title of the post. About a month ago Asheboro NC made 3rd on the list of the fastset dying cities in the U.S. It kind of struck a nerve around here but may be fairly accurate. Lexington NC down the road 15 miles made 10 on the list of...
Stonetree Signs in Asheboro NC. Love the info in here. We have a Roland Versa Camm and Royal Soveriegn Laminator, been lurking for a while reading up on stuff.
I had some trouble with my machine finding the marks with glossy laminate. A tech walked me through a very fine adjustment on the "eye" that reads the marks. Try a test of finding the marks without lamination. If it finds them like that you may need the same adjustment.
