We just bought the Rohland-640 and using versaworks to rip. (AWESOME) however we currently only have the mimaki cg160fx plotter. Now versaworks prints trim marks for me. But to cut through the plotter is seems I have to send it throught the flexi rip production manager. and my cuts arent...
We use the mimaki jv3-160. We just recently switched from megaink to triangle ink. We use bulk system and mega apparently is going away. The triangle ink works well. However I cant seem to find any support for color profiles. Im having bigger problems printing correctly on banner material...
When i disway and nozzlewash (or try to) the black cap station wont hold the fluid. it will just empty out without the pump working. the other 3 caps work fine. anyone ever experience this?
thanks. dont know what brand canvas this is. but if there are any recommended icc profiles for a mimaki jv3 please point me there. thanks for the reply.
I got some sample canvas in. But when i print it seems the ink doesnt look lively. the black is dull and overall brightness is lackluster. I was wondering if there was a certain way to pring to canvas, or is this just the way it is. Its a cloth like canvas. forgot the nomenclature. hell, i...
When setting up a print, the media scroll is grayed out. I can select output profile, but i cant change the media. We had a problem yesterday and we had to do a system restore to even get the production manager to start. And I think while messing with other stuff we may have lost some stuff...
Using flexi 7.6 Tried to clear preferences, but I cant find where to do it. Ive data cleared the printer (jv3-160) and rebooted windows. Ive also tried a system restore to last month with no success. And Ive disabled all firewalls and did a windows update. Im about mins from just...
we switched to bulk megaink about a year and a half ago. same thing happened. We had to change profiles to fit the new ink and no more bleed problem. most ink suppliers have prebuilt profiles for you.
Im sure someone does. But over the past year or so Ive been learning more and more about this printer. Im wondering now how to replace one of the heads myself instead of paying 2 grand (parts, labor and travel) out for a tech. Cant seem to find any literature. tips and tools?
Yeah ive replace the damper. And ive forced cleaning solution from a cardtidge using my awesome horse syringe (connected past the cap station). got the lines all clean and that should have gotten the nozzle clean as well. its getting better. but taking a while.
I did a search for this. So if anyone knows where a thread is, please point it out. I use a JV3-160sp. Megaink solvents. When I do a test print the black prints are messed up. the little rectangles arent aligned right. Thats supposed to mean I need to wash the heads, right? That was done...
a lose pinch scre connecting the pilly to the roller. a quick turn of an allen key and presto. just had to take the circuit boards off to get to it. but alls good.
It will find the side edges and stop. The rollers wont roll. You can hear the motor or something make sounds as if its wanting to roll, but the rollers dont move. You can move them freely with your finger, so i know nothing is stuck. worked fine yesterday, not working this morning. 1st...
One of my fans went out. It one of the 2 bottom ones near the pick up roll. The fan is a Sanyo Denki San Ace 120. the model number is 109r1224h102. Ive looked everywhere i know for this model number and cant find it. Any one here had to replace their fans?
I use a jv3 160. I get this waviness in my greens and oranges. Its weird looking. Its done his since before I took over printing. And no one here knows whats causing it. But there is a wave effect in green and orange hues. Hoping someone here has come across this before.
