I haven't been to this forum in years, but I see they have a section for fonts and typography and I am wondering if anyone can ID this font? It was sent by a customer for part of their logo and they need some words updated and I wondered if any font sharks might have this at the tip of their...
I have a valid registered Omega 4.0 and use it to run my Edge 1. I design everything in Flexi (have 3 registered versions of that too) and I'm adding another plotter and Edge 2. I don't like the way Flexi outputs to the Edge so I was hoping to buy another Gerber software (older version fine...
Great idea on using Primer 94 on the perimeter of the glass... never thought of that before. We also use black 220 vinyl 3/8" to 1/2" wide around the perimeter of the graphic to seal it down. It seems to hold up better than the 8914 (? I think that's the number) optically clear edge sealing...
I have been using "Brand X" magnetic sheeting for the last several years and have not been satisfied with the holding power of the material. The sheeting I am using is the most expensive in the supply catalog and is self proclaimed as having the most poles per inch, so it's not like I am...
I have a customer who is wondering if we would be able to print some large floor graphics for a trade show booth with his logo and some photographs and have it tough enough to withstand foot traffic and be able to have it flexible to roll it up and use it for several shows. Initially he had...
I probably should have mentioned that these will be used as awards, they won't be used for flagging races. Thanks for the replies so far... still looking for any other input or suggestions.

I have a customer who called me and said they ordered (12) 24" x 24" checkered flags that are nylon and sewn together to create the checker pattern of black and white. They are not able to have their local contact screen print them because they are sewn together where as in the past they were...
Doug,
Thanks for checking and replying back. I have a new lead and promising news from a guy who is supposed to call me and help me out. He has successfully loaded Omega and Flexi on one operating system... one computer... I hope he calls soon and I can get this resolved and back to work. If I...
I've searched some past topics and found some that date back to 2005 where someone was successful in running both software packages on one computer, but on Windows 7, I was successfully running FlexiSIGN Pro 8.6v2 and I bought the Omega upgrade and had planned to run them both on one computer...
Steph,
Thanks so much for the help. I was at the lower build number. I did go to the site and update the software to the 1472. On the very first try to copy a photo, it worked fine, and it also cut and pasted just fine. I hope it works every time, that would be great!
There was a point in...
I guess it makes sense what you are saying about nodes too close to corner... it certainly wasn't a problem in 5.7... I wish there was a workaround for this issue. For now, it's still "export file to 5.7, round the corners, export out... import it back into Flexi 7 or 8 depending which computer...
I upgraded Flexi to 8.6 last year and had fairly good luck with most of the aspects of Flexi's everyday design/cut features. However, this year I upgraded to a new computer with Windows 7.0 and I've had some strange things happen and I wondered if anyone else had this happen:
One thing is...
I realize there is only going to be a limited range of color and orange is a tough one... but I have a wrap all set to go and want as vibrant an orange as possible for part of the graphics and I test printed a section and everything looks beautiful.... except for the orange. It's too dull. Any...
