  1. 3M SV480Cv3 or LX480Cv3 source

I'm sure I have some scrap, but 3M offers short 5 yard rolls for free. Get with your rep on getting one. If you work in sq inches, 5 yards x 54" should last you a while.
  2. SEALITpen vs 3m 3950 edge sealer?

I like the pens. Yes they run try very fast, but that's when you refill them with primer94 or frogjuice, clear star, etc ;)
  3. Wrapping rear-view mirror, help.

Funny I clicked on this. Here's what was in our parking lot 2 hours ago. Very, very cool cars.
  4. Fellers

I bought a 96" Sooper Edge that I couldn't find anywhere else from Advantage. It was a very pleasant experience.
  5. Fellers

Funny that I found this thread. I came here looking for feedback on the new knifeless tape that's in the catalog. (You know, the one that will give you the ability to charge more for your wraps) /sarcasm The fpp ratio is hilarious. All laughing aside, the Raptor and GTR are worthy of being...
  6. Save user settings FC8000

Yeah I don't think that's possible. Pretty sure it's a one way street. That kinda sucks because I tend to adjust the conditions at the front panel, which means they get blown when the software re-uploads. Not on here much but you can call me and I'll try my best to help. 877-644-WRAP
  7. Save user settings FC8000

Yes you can. Graphtec offers a software utility (Windows only) that you can create conditions and upload them to the cutter. What's nice is that you can give mnemonics to the conditions so that users have a better idea what the condition is for. The utility also gives you remote control of...
  8. Graphtec FC8000 issue

Graphtec released some firmware versions in which ARMS does not work. What version are you running?
  9. Pink Camo partial wrap

I don't ask why anymore. The only thing that matters is can we make it and will the check clear. We wrapped a harley electro-glide in a diamond plate traditional camo last week...I don't ask why...
  10. Pink Camo partial wrap

Shoot me a PM if you need some custom camo. Pink camo or tight scaling. We've got boat loads of camo packages. I'd dare say everything available sans the copywritten patterns. The problem with the mass produced sheets are that they are on low grade calendared material and liquid laminated...
  11. Thinking about selling my equipment

PM Sent. I'm more than pleased with my gear from uncle frank.
  12. Dual rolls on valuejet?

Nah, we use Wasatch. I just think I'm totally missing the point (no breakfast has that affect) of why you'd want to rack up two small rolls of the same material as opposed to one wide roll.
  13. Dual rolls on valuejet?

We can call it whatever, but that print head makes us money and I will err on the side of safety>speed any day. If we're talking the exact same material (though I'd never try this with banner material) I suppose it's technically possible even without software support, it's just too plain risky...
  14. Is there anything you won't print/paint?

My 12 year old son works with me during the summer. We produce nothing that I would not want him to be exposed to. I don't care who has a problem with this.
  15. Dual rolls on valuejet?

Hmm. I see this plan riddled with land mines. The materials would have to be exact else profiling is moot, not to mention the mechanics of PF adjust. ...and the raw media edges in the center. To me the risk isn't worth the gain...whatever the gain is for you. Personally I can't think of...
  16. Dual rolls on valuejet?

    on the dual head mutoh?
  17. question areas

You can voice your concern about wrapping the roof (you can lead a horse to water...) but you may have to just not wrap the roof and when he sees it really should be wrapped let him come back and pay you to do it. Of you could wrap 6" or so up the roof. On the bottom, we usually trim where...
  18. Tech in tulsa, ok?

That's unfortunate. Good luck with the issue.
  19. Tech in tulsa, ok?

I don't know if the Fellers' techs know the Outdoor or not (don't think they have sold that model) but I have nothing but praise for every one of their techs. They make a great team because they all have their niche. Even the manufacturers fail in comparison. And I'm not on their payroll...
  20. LG Chem

Firmly agree, but you know there are some that are going to try to pinch pennies for whatever reason. I don't mind using / learning brand 'whatever' products on gov'ment jobs around the shop. Live jobs are 3M generally. Is the per job cost really worth it? No. I am toying around with the...
