Flexi 12 and Graphtec FC 8000-100 Thank you! I used Flexi Rip and my 42" Graphtec FC. I used Generic vinyl profile 12 pass. The black looked great and even the blue color in the star looked good.

What did you figure out? What was your process to do the calibrations with Flexi? Did you do them on the printer or Flexi?

Same here This happened to me too trying to use an Oracal profile. I switched profiles and it stopped not sure what the problem is.

I take it you have installed reflective wet. Have you had any issues with it? I have a few projects that it would help to do a wet install on but have always went by manufactures suggestion.

If its not the contour color it will see it as just cut color. Another thing if you use the cut/plot dialog it won't see it as a contour job. Use the rip/print dialog and select send contour job only.

Was the file created in illustrator with the contour? It may be that Flexi is seeing the contour as just a regular cut instead of a contour. I don't have any problems using USB with my Graphtec FC 8000 may be different on 5100 but I don't think thats the issue.

If your using VersaWorks go to the Media menu and select one of the Chart types and it will create one for you.

My Graphtec FC8000 does perf cut. You have to move the blade to postion 3 and it will cut over the gap instead of the cut strip. You can set the perf options for different line segments. This may be off topic or a dumb question but should I not be printing using the PSD file? I have been just importing the PSD into Flexi and printing it.

No you need to set your HP up with a static IP so it dosent change. There should be a connection menu on your printer. I can't remember where its at exactly. You will need to know your subnet and gateway settings also. You can find those by typing ip config in a dos window. Give your printer an...
