  1. Phototex for Templates

Great post, as I have been trying to figure out the same thing. Looks like a great solution, I will need to get some phototex and try it out myself for sure. Was just curious what vinyl you used for the final product? I've used convex, arlon, and tried 3M's new stuff but have always fought...
  2. Template building for off road vehicles

Thank you for all the responses and for the links! Haven't tried the grid approach but that would be a good idea. I know that there is some transfer/masking tape you can buy with 1" grids but not sure how conformable it would be. For those taking pictures, are you using a tripod or another...
  3. Template building for off road vehicles

I have created a few templates from scratch for snowmobiles and side by sides much to my own displeasure of available templates. It takes forever and isn't really worth the time unless you can sell tons of the kits but for my own/friends vehicles I want them to look nice & clean and not a hack...

  10. Grommeting aluminum composite (aka Dibond, Alumapanel, Signabond, etc...)

Thank you for all your responses, its much appreciated. I will try some non piercing grommets and set them with a hammer punch next. The reason for wanting to grommet them is to provide longer life since the ACM itself is not strong enough to withstand 30-60 mph winds for days or sometimes...
  11. Grommeting aluminum composite (aka Dibond, Alumapanel, Signabond, etc...)

I have tried for quite a long time (months) to properly attach grommets to 3/4mm aluminum composite material with no lasting success :banghead:. Mind you these are real estate yard signs that hang on S hooks that take quite a beating from wind and weather, we also chain the sign to the post on...

Thanks Mark, its close but the "T" is not the same. I cannot find any font that has the same "T" as the one in the picture, the rest of the letters are always extremely close though. For now I have traced the image and made due but would love to know if this is an actual font.

  18. Why I will never buy another HP printer again. L26500 nightmare

I am sorry to hear your troubles and completely sympathize with you. We had massive issues with ours and wouldn't you know, Grimco as well. Got the same run-around as you did from both HP and Grimco after having 8 bad ink cartridges, 5 bad print heads and multiple hardware issues all within a...

  20. L26500, this many problems?

Well, supposedly its fixed, but only time will tell at this point. Had 7 box's delivered between both FedEx and UPS on Friday which made it look like they were rebuilding the damn thing. Guess I was right, the tech came out Monday and pretty much tore the whole machine apart and replaced all...
