  1. Sign Estimating Software

It happened way before you purchased it. They are a very small company.
  2. Sign Estimating Software

I was just at their website, estimatesoftware.net. They have been sending licenses like this for years and their website hasn't changed much. Upgrades haven't happened much at all. What writing on the walls are you seeing? You didn't say what it said?
  3. Does anyone know a trick to print a gray image without a green tint?

I profile all medias, been doing it for a decade. Never once have I had a profile that would print greys without some color cast, mainly magenta. The profile isn't the problem, it is the mixing of Cyan Magenta and Yellow to make grey. Or what the profile thinks is grey. You won't EVER get a good...
  4. Wanted Looking for USED 60"^ Heat Assisted Laminator (seal, royal, GBC)

What model is the 60" seal laminator. Do you still have it?
  5. Estimate Sign Software, having software issues

The software works well for estimating signs, that is all I can vouch for, and that is all I use it for. It seems to have worked quite well for the past decade for us.
  6. Estimate Sign Software, having software issues

Okay, I figured it out. The double sided box was clicked, so when it goes to an odd number it is a one sided sign, and an even number it is a double sided sign. Operator ERROR!
  7. Estimate Sign Software, having software issues

Doesn't matter if it is checked or not, just gives them a discount, otherwise it fluctuates like when it is on.
  8. Estimate Sign Software, having software issues

The only settings with waste is with the print media, and changing those values didn't change the inconsistency of pricing.
  9. Estimate Sign Software, having software issues

I have found out that if I take the substrate out of the estimate, it does have the pricing in the correct increments. As soon as you put a substrate in, is when the inconsistencies happen.
  10. Estimate Sign Software, having software issues

Hello, I own EstiMate Desktop Sign Software that you do estimates in. I am wondering if anyone has this software and can communicate with me about some problems it has when doing estimates. I am experiencing inconsistent pricing by just changing the quantities. I am attempting to find out if it...
  11. Did Grimco acquire Midwest??

Grimco has bought Midwest Sign. Right now, if you need to talk to them, they make you wait on the phone for like a hour, if you are lucky they answer it. I called three times on one day, never did talk to ANYONE> I had a Grimco salesperson call me one day, and I voiced my opinion of not liking...
  12. Carrying Brackets for Roland XR640 printer. Okay to install on bottom?

Hello all, I have a Roland XR640 that I need moved up a flight of stairs. I have moved a Roland SC-540ex printer and it had two brackets on the bottom of it that installed two round bars bolted into it to use as handles to lift. 4 people could use the bars and 1 person on each end. The Roland...

  14. Wasatch Corrupt Company

Your Dongle should have a tag on it, that has the code you need. My has it, been on there since I bought it like 10 years ago. I am going to the monthly charge as this is the only way you will get updates and newer versions. You have to keep getting newer versions due to compatibility with...
  15. Who is responsible for paying for repairs a serviceman created by their own doing?

Because I am so busy, I don't have time, and I thought someone with experience could do it quickly without I spending a half day replacing a part that I have never replaced before. I can make more money producing than changing a dampener.
  16. Who is responsible for paying for repairs a serviceman created by their own doing?

This is a distributor's authorized Roland repair person. I have worked with this person for a few years, I have confidence in them. They have done many repairs before on this and other printers. I just tag this up to a mistake any of us could do easily if we were not paying attention to detail...
  17. Who is responsible for paying for repairs a serviceman created by their own doing?

Hi Frank, I totally understand that I should have to pay for parts that are part of the repair search. Makes total sense. So if the head had to be replaced and the ribbon cable didn't have to be removed from the board, isn't removing the ribbon cable and then rehooking it back up and then...
  18. Who is responsible for paying for repairs a serviceman created by their own doing?

Oh, that isn't good leaving you with a broken printer. Ouch. Mine was down for over two weeks because of this. I understand that there are parts that might break during a repair, I understand that, I have even done it, but not a circuit board, that takes a special electrical shock to kill it. If...
  19. Who is responsible for paying for repairs a serviceman created by their own doing?

Hey Jay! Thank you for your input as it did enlighten me upon how you do go about repairing wide format printers. I always assumed that they would have a schematic upon how to test to find bad parts. But it seems that it is by common sense and test and confirm. I do understand that you have to...
