ok i managed to sort it. i removed the pipe just before the valve, ink started to flow and once it was nearing the end i reattatched it. switched machine back on, did a clean and then it printed fine.

Mutoh Valuejet 1604 I suspect there may be air leaks on my capping station. what is the procedure for checking and adjusting. I don't want to replace the capping station as I do not feel it's actually broken just not sitting right.

My machine is doing this again, try to print SUBTANK REFILL, leave it standing for a few hours and E122 Err SubTankLo M At the back of the machine there is no ink in the tube leading to the black (valve?) just before the subtank, however there is ink running down the tube leading to the head...

can you explain in more detail, where excatly is the valve located? Are you talking about the black valves at the back of the machine just before the sub tank?

What would be the best course of action to take here?

Are you sure there's no way to align, I thought that was what the alignment print in the technical menu was for, maybe its not the nozzles out but the head. Cheers

I feel your pain on this. I use a bulk ink system on a mutoh 1604. From day one I made it compulsory to keep 2 bottles of spare ink of every colour. We have to insert these chips into our bulk system. The day before install everything was printing ok and one of the chips ran out. No problems...

If I remember correctly objects reflect certain frequencies of light and we perceive those different frequencies as colour. A print is reflecting light from the sun etc whereas a monitor has it's own light source which passes through a mesh of RGB cells. These dots are so small our brains...

Mutoh valuejet 1604 When cleaning I've noticed a loud clicking & whirring sound and also some popping. Something is definitely not right. Any ideas what could be causing this?

Can anybody tell me how you go about aligning the nozzles, when doing a nozzle check I've noticed that a few of the blacks are out of place. I went into the special menu and printed the nozzle check there and some lines are out aswell. What is the procedure for realigning the nozzles?

Guys, just to keep you updated, I replaced the encoder wheel and everything is working ok. If you're having this problem check the encoder wheel for scratches, mine was scratched.

Had exact same problem with my valuejet, replaced encoder disk and all is ok.
