  1. 911 address signs

It is a headache for sure. I work with the addressing authority for the county, so what they say for addressing and color goes, as far as emergency services is concerned. They are all for having the proper address displayed, as it's the biggest factor in delaying response to emergencies...
  2. 911 address signs

The red would be the background color, not the lettering. I don't have to distinguish them, just thought it would be helpful. Any color reflective sign by the roadway should work for catching a unit's lights at night. Sorry, we refer to physical addresses as 911 addresses since they are fairly...
  3. 911 address signs

Thanks for your input 2B. We use green backgrounds for Farm Road signs, and blue backgrounds for Private Roads in our county. We were hoping to use red as it's distinguishable as an 'emergency color.'
  4. 911 address signs

A vertical or horizontal sign displaying one's address. For example, it might display: 24658, or something similar. Lettering is usually white and reflective. It makes it much easier for emergency services to find the correct house, especially at night. Being in the field I can assure you that...
  5. 911 address signs

Looking for suggestions on 911 address signs. I'm working with the fire department which was originally wanting to use a reflective red substrate, approximately 6x18", or something close. I know green and blue are standard, and even saw someone offering black. What is everyone else using?
  6. Price for SP540v

Haha, sold. I will send you a PM for sure. I took a job as a 911 dispatcher, so my time is greatly limited now. Just don't need as much of a machine. Thanks.
  7. Price for SP540v

I'm needing some advice. I am looking to sell my Roland SP-540v. I bought it new in 2009 and it has been lightly used on and off since then. I am just looking for some opinions on an asking price. I know that there are a lot of variables but just a base price or starting point would be great...
  8. Need rodeo vector

The focus is only on the bullfighters during freestyle events. Yes, these are separate events where it is bull/steer vs. fighter. Their 'show' would be that of the barrelman, the one with a barrel. He is the comedy act for the event and usually has 2-3 specialty acts throughout any one event.
  9. Need rodeo vector

This is not regional, trust me. You can call them 'clowns' if you want I suppose. Most do wear face paint. I'm actually in training for it right now. It is not bullriding. We are on the ground, not on the animal. Our job is to protect the rider once he is off the animal.
  10. Need rodeo vector

It is bullfighting. During the bullriding there are two protective bullfighters to ensure that the rider is safe when he is bucked off or if he gets hung up. There is also freestyle bullfighting where you compete one on one with a bull. A barrelman could also be considered a bullfighter.
  11. Need rodeo vector

Does anyone know where I can find a rodeo bullfighting vector? I haven't had any luck. Thanks!
  12. Service mode protected

I'm trying to change the dampers on my SP-540v but can't get into the service mode. It keeps giving me the Service Mode is Protected message which I know means that the keys I'm pressing in sequence aren't right. Anyone have any info to help me out here? Ver. 6.9. Thanks.
  13. What was it?

That's it. Thanks a lot. Looks nice.
  14. What was it?

Recently saw a guy at a festival cranking out customized vinyl signs. He had a 24" cutter but was using something that I had never saw before. It looked like a screen printing screen and frame. He'd just place it over the cut vinyl and roll it onto the screen, then place the sign blank under it...
  15. Font ID

    Thanks Jim.
  16. Font ID

I need some help here. Can't seem to find this one in the library. Thanks!
  17. SP-540 won't feed

Got it. Just started with more media already through the machine. Thanks.
  18. SP-540 won't feed

Machine has been working fine. I put in a new media and less than a foot will feed out, then it just stops. This is the first time I've had this problem. What am I doing wrong?

Just checking in about the mouse pad printing. Is that the price trimmed also? With different designs, how much space would you need between each one? Thanks! Stuart
