Is this still happening? If so I can look in my service manual and see what this error means.

This can be acouple different things...heater settings, profiles, ink limits, contaminated media. Is this only occuring on one type of media? Is it happening on one image or any image you print? Does it seem to be happening with any color or one color?

Maybe you need to clean your encoder strip.If you take off the top cover of your machine there is a strip of smoke colored plastic that runs on top of the machine..the head runs the width of this. You'll want to clean that and see if that helps.

When this has happened to me..emptying of inks into the waste tank..it's been due to the little foam pads on top of the capping station swelling and touching the heads on the printer. Take a look in there and see if the pads are swelling..if so remove the top pads and then order a new...

Check to see if your media is not blocking the two holes (sensor). If the media is over those holes completely you'll get errors like this. Those sensors need to be partly exposed and not covered completely. Check and see if that is your problem. Hope this helps!

What kind of media are you using? Is it already printed on.. in the area you have the media set at where the print head moves over it?

Just for the record...anything within 5.15 and 5.3 is acceptable as for voltage to your mainboard. So if you had the same problem and a tech (or you) adjusted your voltage from 4.85 to 5.15 then you are good. This will not "fade" over time and need to be readjusted. Hope this helps!!
