  2. Roland XC 540 Pro III print head wiring order...

Ok... I wanted to make an update... The post above was just an example of the wiring order. The service manual for the Roland XC-540 doesn't tell this piece of information (that I could see). Can anyone weigh in on this information so anyone who owns a Pro III who takes all the ribbon cables...
  3. Roland XC 540 Pro III print head wiring order...

IE Coloney... I was hoping I had it written out correctly. I had crossed the wires in the past, and just wanted to make sure I saved myself some unforseen headaches. Is that the order?

Hello all, Is there someone out there who could possibly offer their knowledge on the wiring sequence / order of the print head ribbon cables to the carriage board? A: Cyan – left slot connects to rear slot on the board (power cord side of the printer) Cyan – right slot connects to 3rd from...

Hello, I saw you respond to a thread, so I thought I'd reach out and ask a question if you don't mind. I have a Roland XC-540, and I took all the print head ribbon cables off and when I put them on again I blew the head board. I have a repaired board, and I want to make sure I have the cable...
  6. Intellectual Property and Copyright Theft In Our Industry.

It's 2018, and looking back on the subject, I'd say this whole thread taught a lot of people a LOT of things. Hope everyone is doing well.
  7. Anybody heard from StickaSteve?

Man... It has been a LOONG while since I posted, and learned all about copyright laws and infringement.
  8. Intellectual Property and Copyright Theft In Our Industry.

What I did was very wrong, and I learned quite a bit about copyright infringement. I learned a few things actually... I have typed this many times already, and the past 2 days have been making me sick because not only is there little work coming in, but now I have to worry about a lawsuit...
  9. Your design level...

I think every artist has their own style, and everyone can learn from other if the artist is willing to be taught or to teach. My style is on the darker side of art, and I struggle every day to conform to advertising. I got my ass handed to me last night and took a lot of things personally...
  10. Helmet wraps... Just a cool design for some kids.

I beleive we can wrap just about ANYTHING. All you have to do is figure out how.
  11. Helmet wraps... Just a cool design for some kids.

Thanks for the compliments! As far a copyright goes... If someone pays you money to do something are you going to turn them down because you may or may not get a cease and desist? Times are tough right now and if I had that luxury beleive me I would turn it down. If you liked the site...
  12. Our Wrap in ACTION

That looks like so much fun! KUDOS for a wrap being in the air!
  13. Helmet wraps... Just a cool design for some kids.

What copyright issues? LOL... If I was mass producing them it may be a problem. They aren't twins, they're really close cousins.
  14. Helmet wraps... Just a cool design for some kids.

I did it with 3 pieces. It works out SO much easier. Design takes the most time, but we did 2 and it took a little over an hour and a half per helmet to wrap.
  15. Helmet wraps... Just a cool design for some kids.

Just a sample of a christmas present we made up for some cool kids.
  16. How to tell if customer is mistreating their wrap?

I agree with Digital... People follow suit with their lifestyle. Look at the customer, and look at the car. If any customer asks if they can wash it like a regular paint job, expect them to mistreat the wrap. A wrap is not paint. If it is treated like paint then it will be destroyed...
  17. HHR Wrap Difficulty

HHR Bumpers are TERRIBLE! RUN if they want those wrapped for the normal square footage price.
  18. WALL WRAP MATERIAL????? please advise.

Good xmas presents... I'll check past threads.
  19. WALL WRAP MATERIAL????? please advise.

Who has advise on this topic? I have a ceiling in a kids room to wrap, and I'd like it to last and be as easy as possible to install... Removeable is not necessarily an issue. Is everyone using the Avery material, or are there better, and/or less expensive materials? Material and laminate...
  20. Wrap over Rivets or not??

I go over them because no one wants to pay us to take that extra time to remove them. Every rivet takes 20 seconds to remove totally, then to put them back in also... I'm no panel repair guy and that opens the potential for a different can of worms. Primer 94, and you're done!
