I agree that these colors will not show up on a window. I think the solution is to explain this to the customer and print it on white will an 1/4" contour bleed of white. It will really pop and make it all look better in my opinion. Something like I have attached. Thanks for all the ideas...
This customer would like this graphic on her store front window. Would I be crazy to print this and try weeding it. I just think it would take a LONG time to weed all that excess vinyl. Does anybody know of alternative to attacking this kind of job? Thanks!
I have to reproduce the graphics on the side of this truck after it is painted. Does anybody know if there is a place to purchase the design? Vector artwork preferably. I've noticed other vehicles (GMC?) having this same design. Any help on how to get my hands on a file or any advice on how...
I have 10 - 6' w x 4' h corplast signs that will be used as POP indoor store displays. I need to use some sort of easel back or stand for these. Is there a way to make something from left over scrap coroplast, card board or similar materials? I am in a time crunch and don't have time to order...
I know exactly what you mean. I've done these in the past on other vehicles. Just had a brain fart! I think the issue I had on this truck is that I didn't tuck the vinyl in on that top edge enough and ended up having to stretch the vinyl over it and the convex mould. Should have taken care and...
By relief cut you mean to do this during the install correct? This can't be done once the install is finished right? I thought of cutting along the edge where the vinyl is coming up, painting on the tape primer in that area and then trying to lay back down. I would risk stretching or having...
SO... I wrapped a large laundry delivery van about a month ago and it had some pretty large concave and convex surfaces. I used 3m Primer 94 on all the areas I think it needed it, and the vinyl has decided to come up in certain areas. Mostly in the crevices in the indent over the convex shape...
Has anyone heard of these? Can they be produced on a Roland and if so where would I get the vinyl from? Otherwise, anybody of a good place to outsource. Thanks! Here is a company I found just by a quick google search.

Competition in my city I guess? There are about 10 other sign companies in our town and about 3 or 4 of them have been around for 15-20 years or longer. I think it would be difficult to start a business from the ground up. The main reason besides my hard work in this position that this...
Allegra is a franchise, his company was bought out by the network about 3 years ago. I originally had to go out and sell, cold call, etc. I was paid a monthly commission based on all sales that came through the sign division. After the first year, we hired a sales position and that clearly...
Just so everyone can get a better idea of my dilemma. I make $15.50 per hour plus some benefits (not all that great) in a region that has about 65,000 people. I want to ask for at least a $2.00 raise because in my opinion I am doing enough work for at least 2-3 people. The pace at which I am...
I am an employee with six years experience who has started the owners sign business from the ground up. I have been here for two years and the business has more than tripled in sales in the second year alone. I have never been given a pay raise nor had any sort of performance review. I just...
Can anybody tell me what the average wage that a sign production person makes? The work includes running a large format printer, sign production, installation which also includes full wrap vehicle installation among other basic duties as this role in a print shop. This may or may not influence...
