  4. Fj-540 keeps beeping, help!

    I have a roland Fj-540 and recently it keeps beeping, but no error message on the panel and the printer prints fine. Does anybody have any idea why this is happening and how to fix it. If I can't fix it I'll have to put tape on the speaker so the sound won't drive me crazy. Thanks

    That test pattern has to many gaps. Try doing a manual cleaning with the swabs. Don't forget to clean the wipers. Also make sure that you installed the cartridges in the right order.   9. Durafos aqueous ink

    I bought some on ebay about two weeks ago and put in in my fj500 pigment cmyk. The color is great, but it taking a long time to day. I find it still smears after a day of drying time. I printed on semi gloss all purpose paper suppiled from the same company that sold me the ink. Hope this helps.

    I used to run a durst pictor and I printed on a ton of wood. prints turn out nice and ink bond very well to wood when dry.

    I use to do these all the time on a flatbed printer that prints white as the fifth color. If your printer doesn't print white. Make a overlay out of white vinyl or create a template and paint over areas that need to be white. Mirror image in your rip or flop in your image program.
