Guys, anyone heard of it? where can I get a sample? How is it compare with Phototex? Should be new repositionable self adhesive fabric paper. Any assistance appreciated.
  2. Print and Cut Phototex

Thanks for your suggestions guys. I'm running without any middle pinch roller, printing and cutting, no issues, cutting looks as accurate as before.
  3. Print and Cut Phototex

Appreciate the suggestions guys. Will try to run without any middle pinch roller. I'll report back how that goes.
  4. Print and Cut Phototex

No. it's fine if I just give it 20min dry time (between print and cut) on the printer itself. I would just like to cut this time or eliminate it completely if possible.
  5. Print and Cut Phototex

    :thumb: Thanks, will try that.
  6. Print and Cut Phototex

Thanks Kraig. Wondering if there's someone doing 54'' print & cut on a Roland machine without ANY middle pinch roller? If I can get the middle pinch roller not to leave mark on a freshly printed Phototex, or get rid of the middle pinch roller - it'll increase my production rate X2-X3 easy.
  7. Print and Cut Phototex

Thanks guys. I was hoping more to get suggestions on trying to get the Phototex to dry faster. I'm using only Phototex, all day long... Kraig, just to make sure I understand - the machine won't let you do print & cut 54'' roll without a pinch roller in the middle, or is it just causing the...
  8. Print and Cut Phototex

Jason, how do you put the masking tape on the pinch roller? just wrap a small piece around it? Do you run it like this all the time? Thanks.
  9. Print and Cut Phototex

Thanks Jason. This is a bit different scenario than ours, as we do it on the same machine. Just wondering if there's anything I can do to get the Phototex dry faster? Does someone do 54'' wide print and cut without a middle pinch roller (just the two side ones)?
  10. Print and Cut Phototex

Thanks Jason. Can you give a bit more information? A pinch roller with masking tape on it will not leave a mark when traveling over high saturated "just printed" Phototex?
  11. Print and Cut Phototex

Hello, new here... We use VP-540. When printing & cutting on phototex 54'' rolls, we need to set a drying time of about 20min between printing and cutting. If we set less drying time or none at all, we usually end up having roller marks on the dark/more saturated sections of the prints (as if...
  12. Dots look misaligned in a print test - SP540V

Forgot to mention that the printer is still under manufacturer warranty (it's 3 months old...). Maybe would be wise to call them and see what they do.
  13. Dots look misaligned in a print test - SP540V

Thanks Jason. Antwhere I can get a procedure or good instructions for soaking the heads? I only see a problem at the black (K) section.
  14. Dots look misaligned in a print test - SP540V

Guys, Any help will be appreciated. Basically we started seeing banding in our prints. We noticed the test print looks different than what it used to be, especially at the black section (some dots looks as if they not at the right place). We tried to do normal cleanning, medium cleaning...
  15. Looking for Roland 60deg carbide blade for SP-540v

Any idea where I can buy one in the UK? I'm working (well, trying to cut... :banghead:) Phototex (fabric paper) and heard I should be using 60deg carbide blade. Any help much appreciated.
  16. Photo-tex Profile for my Sp540v?

    Thanks, got it.
  17. Photo-tex Profile for my Sp540v?

Guys. I'm about to print on phototex using SP-540V also. Any idea where I can find this MCVP profile? Looked everywhere, including the Roland site and couldn't find it. Any help will be appreciated.
