Had similiar problem... it progressed to this. A change to roland inks from solaris made that and other problems go away... Hope it helps.

If it's an outline for text, then you need to ungroup the text before the weld and it will weld in one step. This feature needs to be practiced some. You will find it also has less random parts to delete if you do it at a larger scale. Some fonts like papyrus don't work well when they are small...

I sometimes print a small job onto orocal 651 with no problems, but I really need to print this one job onto some 751 and it's not printing great. There may be no solution but to use the print media... but just in case, has anyone found a solution to print to the 751? Many thanks, DD

We had this with the cyan. After a syringe pull it worked for a week, then we were doing it every day. The pull on that line was so hard there had to be a clog in the line. Flushing it did not help, but running a roland cyan cartridge finally disolved this clog and we now run only roland ink...

We ran solaris for one year with no problem... then little things that took time and money to fix started and when we fixed it the problems kept coming back. See the recent "Black is printing green" thread. Pay a little more now and save a lot of money, time and frustration later. That's my 2 cents.
