This is great timing for me to read this. For the last 10 years we have been open to walk-ins monday thru friday. 9 to 5. Then we stay after we lock to doors for at least 4 hours a night to get the work done we couldn't during the day due to emails, walkins, phone calls etc.

this right here is what we are debating doing. Seems like we stay too busy and "distracted" during the day with walk-ins that don't amount to much and then we miss out on larger jobs because of fulfilling the last minute "favor" type stuff. Been at it 10 years and have been weeding away a lot...
