Solaris is great. The chip didn't work on, so it didn't tell my sc 540 to stop printing, it burned up a head. They sent me a new head and had it over nighted, awesome. Also they put 13 percent more ink in the bag, because when an oem bag runs out, 13 percent of the ink is still in.

Blue prints pink By the way. This is just on vector images, such as text. If I print a bitmap, the blue is a better print. I can still see a bit of magenta in it.

Blue prints pink I have tried different profiles and the cyan test print is fine. No streaking or banding. The print itself is great, a solid field. It's a better and brighter shade of pink than if I tried to print pink. I'm just clueless.

Well, you have a short. Now, let's chase it down. You have to check your ribbon cables. If they a have sharp bend, some of the coating is coming off, rubbing metal or the ends are not seated straight, that could be it. Check the very end of the cable, see if the metal pins are worn out or bent...

That is a head problem. Do you know how to change out heads. I would change c & m with Lc & Lm. Not a perfect fix, however it will save ya $2500 on heads and a service call. Also, the ink does not look like it's loaded into the correct slots.
