  1. Suggestions Suggestions for an ADA Printer

Thanks for all this. Especially on the adhesion as I think many of our applications will be on tougher to use materials such as untreated metals. I'm discussing some of this with a rep. This will be the first machine we'll be getting for ADA usage and I'm trying to stay out of the engraver realm.
  2. Suggestions Suggestions for an ADA Printer

I'm looking for suggestions on an ADA printer. Right now I'm looking at either a Digital Color Systems 1800BG or a Mutoh 661 UF. Basically anyone who has experience with either if they're willing to endorse. I know people who have DCS printers and have had success with them, and I just spoke...
  3. Need Help HP Latex 560 Color Calibration

The print quality works out okay. I mostly print photos with it. The worst I've seen is in dark solid colors.
  4. Need Help HP Latex 560 Color Calibration

Thanks. I'll probably leave it as a paper until I have a reason to change it back. I was hoping there was someone who may be more familiar than I about how the machine scans the pattern and if there's something else that might be wrong with the printer. I'll check the other settings (vacuum) as...
  5. Need Help HP Latex 560 Color Calibration

I had been having trouble calibrating some, but not all, of the stocks I run through my Latex 560 printer. I recently had this happen with my printer (or just noticed it). I'm wondering if the HP has a different order it scans for different types of stock, which I think is doubtCalibration Tests...

  7. Proper Cap Alignments

I think I might have screwed up my cap alignments, but I'll let you guys figure it out. After doing work on the machine (including replacing a head and the three caps), and finally getting my machine pumping. I was not actually there for to see the ink pumping, but I get into work today with...
  8. JV3 OEM Chips/Chip Resetter

If it's a loose cable/ribbon, I'll buy that, this would have to be all 6. Where is this board located (more importantly, where is it in the schematic so I may be able to order this), or is this a main board issue?
  9. JV3 OEM Chips/Chip Resetter

Tech was a typo. It's been three, and one was straight from Mimaki. Cartridges will go out before their date or when they're used up. The Machine will report that the cartridge is wrong (despite being in the machine for quite some time), literally giving the error message "WRONG CARTRIDGE"...
  10. JV3 OEM Chips/Chip Resetter

If that were the issue, I'd agree with you. Unfortunately my problem is not with the inks themselves, but the actual chips. We've talked to tech who cannot give us an answer to our problem, and we've concluded that getting spare chips would get us some better usage of the inks we have.
  11. JV3 OEM Chips/Chip Resetter

Anybody know anything about getting spare chips for a Mimaki JV3 160S? Better yet, does anyone know of a good place/price for a chip resetter for the same machine?
