Hey everyone, holy crap this might be a new one. I have never seen this before. So I am sending an image to print and then it makes a pass, then feeds the material through about 5' and then makes another pass! Anyone have an issue like this?

Test print with each roll? I have never seen that. The crappy part is how nice it is to work with. I am going to get a roll from a different supplier and see if there is a difference. If so I am going to tell my main supplier their entire stock might be old or damaged.
Ok I have had it with Avery. 4 out of the last 5 rolls have been bad. Once again today I wasted my time, energy and money on 1005ezrs and the same results keep happening. No matter what heat setting, profile change or print setting I keep getting the same result. So then I switch media and run...
I was thinking maybe a bad roll also but that will be the second one out if the last four. At first I thought the heavily saturated colors as well but there was an entire field of straight black and it didn't do it also. Plus I ran it twice and it did it in different spots as well.
Hey guys I was hoping someone could educate me on why I am seeing this issue in my prints. I am using Avery MPI 1005 and printing it with a GS6000. It is intermittent as well. Any thoughts?
Thanks for all the advice. I did find out what the problem was and how to prevent it after testing some samples at my suppliers place this morning. Extruded acrylic with flamed edges will crack and cast with flamed edges won't. I will provide examples tonight when I am at my desk. I am doing...
I am with you Pat. It makes no sense. I can't put it through the laminator because they are small pieces that have a contoured shape to them to fit a display booth. I didn't supply the acrylic so I have no glue what kind it is.
I did find out today there are two types of acrylic and I don't know if it is cast or extruded. I have worked with acrylic so many times before doing frosted looks with polished edges using rapid tac and cleaning it with acrylic so many times that it was never a problem. I am thinking where they...
Ok guy this is going to be a stupid question but I need some advice. I am working with acrylic and this is not my first time. I am putting clear over it and I used rapid tac. I never had a problem before using it but it is cracking. Now the client decided they don't want to use it with clear...
Hey guys, I put this post up in the summa forum, but no response there. I am looking at buying this machine today and I need some advise fast. Summa Durasign T140 with OPOS. What are your opinions? How much is it worth? It has been sitting for 2 years. I got a big job and I need another cutter...
I am looking at buying this machine. I am very happy with my smaller 24" summa and I am curious on your thoughts. Any problems with this model? I rarely have a need to cut anything over 200" What do you guys this about this model?
