I'm trying to bring a FJ-50 back to life but I am not getting any power. I checked the power board fuse and it is fine. There are no leds lit on the main board or carriage board. When I turn on the sub power I can hear it go to the power board and then to the main board but nothing after...

I have a strange issue with one of my FJ-500's. After doing a head clean then pressing test print from the menu on the machine itself the printhead will move about two inches from the capping station then stop. I look at the lcd on the machine and it is blank like the machine has been turned...
  8. Roland separating knife/blade

Just wondering if anyone knows where I can purchase a seperating knife/blade for my roland printer. Its not a printer cutter combo, its the knife that just cuts straight across after the print is done, once you press the sheet cut button on the machine. I have a FJ-50.
  9. Roland FJ-500 parts?

I just picked up a super cheap FJ-500 but have no idea if I can clean the heads well enough to be satisfactory. If anyone out there has one of these models can you tell me where the most economical place to get heads would be? It uses DX3 heads. Thanks.
  10. Dx2 printhead source

I am having trouble finding a couple of printheads for my FJ-50. My usual source (encompass parts)is now saying that Epson is now controlling the sale of all their inkjet printheads and I will have to contact them directly. I really don't want to go through their recommended dealers because I...
  11. Turn off specific color channels

Is there any way to turn off a specific ink channel in Flexi? I have an epson 9800 and it has 8 color channels (CMYKlc,lm,ly,lk,llk). I needed one of those a few months ago, I don't know the part number off hand but it had to come directly from Roland in Japan. No one has them in stock if you have a Nazdar in your area give them a call they can order it for you, it was about $100.
  13. Tricks for wrapping without removing door handles and mirrors

Thanks to the last 4 posts as well, finally someone understands where I am coming from. As the old saying goes "there is more than one way to skin a cat". Why not try and learn different methods of installation to find out what works best for you, instead of the "pros" constantly pointing out...
  14. Tricks for wrapping without removing door handles and mirrors

  16. Tricks for wrapping without removing door handles and mirrors

Door handles are not really too much of a problem but its those darn stationary mirrors its a 97 Firebird. I have seen videos of people wrapping without removing these things just not enough detail in those videos to get the technique. I just want to know a different method also, its not all him...
  17. Tricks for wrapping without removing door handles and mirrors

So am I correct to assume that none of the people who responded know how to do it, if not that is fine. I am looking for someone who has done it and could tell me how. 20. Stilts anyone???????

Not going to battle with you Gino, my main goal was getting opinions on the idea and if anyone had any experience with it. I already had something similar to the little giant and a walkboard in mind to begin with but thought that maybe stilts would be more compact if they worked how I needed...
