  1. How much for that wrap?!?!?

Yeah, Gino and ProWraps smart, everyone else stupid. You guys should just give up on us, we aren't worthy of your awesomeness.
  2. How much for that wrap?!?!?

You said "WE" so that means you and another person did it in 6 hours. So that is at least 12 man hours. You guys are making a really big deal out of this. I never even considered bickering with the customer. I gave him a 3 minute education on the cost of wraps. He admitted that he was way out...
  3. How much for that wrap?!?!?

Hey thanks sideshow. I appreciate that.:U Rock:
  4. How much for that wrap?!?!?

Wow, you have some serious issues.
  5. How much for that wrap?!?!?

$4500 isn't high. It is an extra tall trailer and includes all four sides, not just the back. It is an old trailer. 4-5 hours for install if that? Dude, are you going to clean it? Anyway, thanks for trying to set me staight with "high prices"
  6. Photoshop is getting me PO'd

Good call, its a long boring job, especially if you have plug ins, but might just bring back your sanity in the morning. Good luck.
  7. Knifeless Tape

We use a similar product in our Rhino Lining Spray In Bedliner business. Only the wire is much thicker for Rhino. This stuff probably has its purposes, but you will have to make an upsell, you can't eat the cost of this stuff on a wrap job.
  8. Photoshop is getting me PO'd

never hurts to do a reinstall of cs
  9. How much for that wrap?!?!?

Since everyone else gets to share a story like this, I want to share mine. Today a guy called for a 24 foot trailer wrap. I worked up my numbers and told him $4500. Upon telling him this, which I feel is a solid price in my market, he pretty much freaked out. It seems someone along the way told...
  10. avery supercast

Hi everyone. I am printing a wrap on Avery Supercast EZRS. It was coming along great. When the roll I was using ran out is setup a brand new out of the box roll and continued to print only to find that I had nasty verticle banding forming. I began the process of trouble shooting my machine...
  11. Wrapping with non air egress vinyl

Hi Mike Pro, from Michaels Signs right? Thanks for the bid of good luck.
  12. Wrapping with non air egress vinyl

Hey, since you have so much experience, share your methods on how you get such perfect results that your are able to relish in your abilities. Don't assume I am not a viable certified installer or less than halfway decent. Thanks. I stand by my opinion that Sigature Graphics is selling garbage...
  13. Wrapping with non air egress vinyl

The limo job encourages me. If you can do that, then I can handle a door. Thanks
  14. Wrapping with non air egress vinyl

This method is what I had in my mind, I was just waiting for somebody to suggest it who possibly has experience, to reinforce my gut feeling about it. I think I can do it without too much trouble, just seems so primitive a method with the technology that exsists out there doesn't it. Or is that...
  15. Wrapping with non air egress vinyl

Honestly, I agree, I will struggle to get it down around edges and into tight areas. I need to do this job in an hour tops, not all day waiting for water to dry out.
  16. Wrapping with non air egress vinyl

Thanks for that advice. Here is another irony though, Signature Graphics told me to always apply their vinyl dry... and yes, I am possitive there are no air egress channels on this stuff. Like I said, Twilight Zone. Maybe I need to cut this job loose.
  17. Wrapping with non air egress vinyl

Okay, check this out. I called the supplier. A huge printer in Indiana called Signature Graphics. www.signaturegraph.com. They acted like I didn't know what I was talking about and said that every graphic package that leaves their plant is done this way. They supply nation wide for vehicle wrap...
  18. Wrapping with non air egress vinyl

I pulled back the premask and checked for lamine with a scratch test. The body shop didn't do anything to the vinyl at all. I unpackaged it myself so it came from the supplier like that. It is not shape cut. It is a 30 inch wide by 110 " long printed rectangle. I only need to wrap the right rear...
  19. Wrapping with non air egress vinyl

The irony is that this vehicle is a partial that appears to be wrapped with this stuff. Actually there is a 3M 180 that does not have air egress channels. It is IJ180. Pretty sure that is what it is. Thanks for the replies so far. There has to be a way to do this job if it was done once already.
  20. New Shop Truck Layout

it really is not as bad of a design as many are saying. It just needs some refining. On bit of advice I would say is pay attention to that gap between your cab and bed. You could loose and entire letter of your smaller text in there. Draw it into your comp and see where it falls. Don't worry...
