You should plan on this being the last upgrade using DesignArt. I have been trying to back up my DesignArt jbs files (18 years worth) by exporting them out as EPS files. When they come into Corel they are not visible until you add hairline outline. Get in the habit and you will not be left hanging.

In addition to DesignArt I run Gerber Omega 4.0. It uses a USB dongle. So as I recall I had to go download a new Sentinel driver which allows both parallel and USB to be used for security keys. There is some messing with the configuration in the Sentinel settings. Hope that helps. Good luck

What level of DesignArt are you using? I run DesignArt 4.0 on Windows 7 with no problem. It is a great older program for cutting basic text fast.

Its 5x10 Speedpress self healing type here. 12 years of hard use and almost time to replace them.

Could it be done as a screen print job and then die cut? I have a vendor that die cuts plastics.

I had the same problem when I put 4.0 on a new Dell Precision T3400. Some time later the hard drive check into the next life and I had to reload everything including updated drivers in Windows -for serial and paralle ports. Fired it up and it works fine 97% of the time. It will not let you...
