Cutter won't reset origin. When I go to set material it checks y, then proceeds to roll the media forward, and won't stop. Would literally run out 50 yds if I let it. Have done factory reset....still the same. HELP!

The unit has nearly new printheads and a bulk ink system. I can get it for 2950.00 and it is a fairly local pickup. Is it a good unit? I have an older SP 300 that I have had excellent luck with, but I am less familiar with the SJ 540. Advice, and opinions appreciated.
