By margins I mean what is the typical profit margin in a print/cut machine. 10%, 20%, 30%...? I'm trying to get a sense of whether or not $1000 below MSRP ($13,995 in Canada) is good or not on a new SP-300i.

I switched from a SP300v to SP300i. For cutting, I've always used SignLab CutPro. With the SP300v, I had the "port location" set to USB0002 and it would cut direct via USB, no issues. With the SP300i and it's ethernet-based connection, I cannot get SignLab to work - there is no valid port. I...

I use a SP300 primarily for cutting. For software, I find Signlab Shortcut to be simple to use and relatively inexpensive. Cheers.

Yes, by eye - each time you press the up arrow, the cap moves up by 0.25. When it makes contact (visually), you hit "enter". At least, that's how I interpret it. Cheers.

Mine goes into a "reduced" vacuum mode, but doesn't shut completely off unless the machine is off.
