    solution In my case- clogged drain tubes caused by bad batch of aftermarket ink. Symptoms act like bad caps/dampers. Look for pooling in the capping station. Nozzle check pattern may or may not show overspray or heavy ink laydown.

    I have the exact same issue. Vp 540. New Roland ink, new yellow cap, new wipers. I think it's spitting. We're getting overspray and pooling.
