I've had experience repairing quite a few fences that were made with them... needless to say, they were replaced with something more permanent.
That being said: we get a fair amount of wind up here.
I should also add that ND graphics only carries the 2mil PITA-to-install dry-erase overlaminate.
I'll see if I can get some from Hexis to test (thanks)
@II Jake:
The board must be white, and they want to be able to use normal dry-erase markers on it.
@skdave: you have PM
@performancev: I thought of that, but was worried that with the lighting set-up in the room, some shadow would be created by the writing due to the 1/4" thickness of the...
I just got volunteered to help a local Air Cadet Squadron convert their existing chalk-board into a white-board.
The existing board uses a 4'X8' piece of 1/4" tempered glass as a substrate, with blackboard paint on it, and has very nice solid-wood frame; their current preference (although that...

But, as a generality:
--> "brass" is generally an alloy of mostly copper and zinc
--> "bronze" is generally an alloy of mostly copper and tin...
I'm doing some cut decals for ABS side-panels on a customer's street bike (80's CB650 if anyone's interested in the details).
He wants them in 3M cast metallic vinyl, and I was thinking of overlaminating with 7mil pro-shield for a little extra durability (since his legs will be rubbing...
I've successfully drilled out stripped screws on a cell-phone (#00 phillips), so I wouldn't knock the idea too much.
Anything can be done with enough time, patience, skill, and/or money ;)
If you think vice-grips are too aggressive, try a hemostat.
I'll admit that I have no idea what the...
