We just finished up graphics on 25 yeti coolers a couple months ago. The tops didn't have that really bumpy surface like some coolers, but they were by no means completely smooth. We used a really high tack adhesion vinyl from kapco and used a heat gun to set the adhesion quickly. Here is the...
Why not just print on clear vinyl and laminate it to your chrome vinyl? Looks as if it was printed directly. Also, if you need the chrome printed directly, I can take care of that for you. I am limited to a 12"x18" single panel size, but is doable.
As the title suggests, I need a grand format printer that can (more importantly) laminate our prints or create new ones and laminate those. There are only two prints but the size is 61"x145". Our laminator will cover 61" exactly but if it goes slightly off, I will be reprinting. Probably easier...
And who on this forum would be spend $30 grand on that thing??? You could buy a decent pad printer, a full small format sublimation setup and still save yourself $15 grand and be able to do everything this machine can (for the most part). Don't get me wrong, I like Roland Machines and have a...
We do medium format sublimation and I couldn't agree any more. I just love those jobs that take an hour to make only to get $30 out of it. I would much rather print a 4x8 banner that takes ten minutes to print and five minutes to hem and grommet, and not too mention make four times the money.
That's like creating a $300 racecar kit and having the customer say "how bout you go ahead and put your name on the car and we'll call it even." I just LOVE hearing that.
Alternatively, you can download a program called Vector Magic and let it do the vectorizing for you. It is actually very accurate and your design time/cost goes way down. I vectorized the logo for you. Obviously, it does need minor fixes but it is way better than starting from scratch.
We do full sublimation mug wraps with the Geo Knight DK3. They are printed completely top to bottom and all the way around to the handle except for about an 1/8th inch on each side of the handle. It is as close as you are going to get unless you are painting and glazing them yourself. Buy a good...
Can anyone tell me how to get into the service mode of my Roland SP-300V? I need to change the ink type from Eco-SOL 4 color to Eco-SOL Max 4 color. I've tried the old way but it says the machine is protected. Thanks in advance.
