straight black will tend to not print as a good deep black, you will need a supported black.
Try a 30c,30m,20y,100 blk or some variation of this to ensure you get a deep rich black.
When you do a manual head clean, use a swab with alcohol to clean off the eye.
Seemed to work.
Over time/use the over spray seems to collect on the eye.
Rip
I have an older 700 encad
I used Photo Print RIP for this on my Mac
I'm sure I have the software as well as parts if needed.
You are welcome to contact me if you need more info.

In ColorRip, in Setup, Edit Properties,
Click on Media Options.
See Calibration
Adjust this and try a test print
Be sure to note where you move this
so you can go back if needed.
Good luck
Does anybody have a suggestion on fixing this.
Its not a scuff but it does this mostly on heavy solid colors
the first 4-5 inches of the print?
Roland SC-540
Thanks
Victor
Ink Drops
I have a Roland Sc 540 ES Pro II.
I am having some issues with the Black ink occasionally dropping ink
onto the the material while printing.
Anybody have these issues?
Ideas on how to correct?
