Why not use one with grommets? I've been watching how to's on youtube and the guy there is using one with grommets.

Okay, thanks. I've never done a banner before. Do you recommend getting a banner with grommets? It's for outdoor use like once a year. Single sided. Should i get a roll or a pre cut banner?

Someone wants me to print a banner 12' by 24" banner. They want it to be charcoal gray (20c 0m 0y 10k) and the text will be light sky blue (0c 0m 0y 80k). Is it possible to do this by getting a charcoal grey banner? As far as I know versacamm's dont print white, so how can this be done...

Replaced the fuse with one from digikey (10 for $12 :p) and checked my ribbon cables. It works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Finally a fully functional printer/cutter :p. Just need to align it now. Thanks!

I should've labeled the head cables, but I'm about 99% sure they're in the right spot, the top ribbon cable from the print board (CN204 I believe) is going to the right (from the front) connector of the print head (also labeled CN204). Before I replace the fuse, I'll double check to make sure...

try pulling ink through with a syringe. Make sure the caps are up, then disconnect the hose going to the blue/black cap and pull about 5-10 ml's of ink through. If this doesn't fix it, check the fuse f3 on the mainboard.

So the tech called me today, it ended up that the SP-??? and service error 0101 was because the limit was not set correctly. The banging was because whoever serviced the machine before me forgot to tighten the scan motor bolts, so the gear was slipping causing motor error 0040. Now it...

I updated the firmware again, still no luck Service Error 0101.... still SP-???, calling roland tomorrow.
