  1. Never doing that again.

No good deed goes unpunished. Keep providing high quality products and service at a reasonable price and you'll be fine. In fact, I would double my efforts with the other shops you are partnering with. The better they do, the better you do.
  2. Fluted Sign Post

    Thanks everyone
  3. Fluted Sign Post

I am in need of a fluted sign post like the one attached and none of my normal suppliers seem to be able to help me. Anyone have any suppliers you could recommend. Thanks Ryan
  4. Apparel supplier needed

We are a pretty high volumn shop but we buy 90% of our stuff from S&S and Virginia T's. They both carry Gildan and will be competitive as far as price goes. With the cost of cotton skyrocketing, expect to pay a bit more but there are also good deals to be had as well.
  5. Roland black lines misfiring, Please help!

I was just recently getting faint black lines in my prints and cleaning the encoder strip corrected my problem. It sounds like you may have more going on, but that is an easy thing that may fix it.
  6. Printing Issue

Yup, cleaned the encoder strip and everything is fine now. Thanks for the help everyone. Ryan
  7. Printing Issue

The cutter did have some debris on it. I removed it to no avail. Here are more pics.
  8. Printing Issue

My printer is printing these faint lines in my prints. I've cleaned the heads etc., changed the wipers, and performed a medium cleanse and nothing has changed. Any ideas? Thanks
  9. Versaworks Tile Issue

The middle of the graphic matches up but as you go out from the middle it gets off more and more. All told, I'm off by about 3/16" on the edges. Long on both ends. I installed one panel right after the other, indoors on acrylic. Both pieces were laminated with the same laminate. When I...
  10. Versaworks Tile Issue

I have a digital print that is roughly 6' x 8'. I have a 54" roland so I decided to tile the graphic vertically and print the graphic in two equal halves. I placed a .25" overlap in the middle. After installing one half of the graphic, the other graphic is too long on both ends ( top and...
  11. Lamination issue

Thanks a lot, being new to this ( digital printing / laminating etc ), I went with my suppliers recommendation on vinyl / laminate. I'll research a bit more thoroughly in the future. I guess my last question is, can it be fixed without removing and starting over? Thanks again. I think a...
  12. Lamination issue

Oracal 3551 vinyl and Oracal 215 laminate is what I used. Printed with eco-solvent ink and allowed to sit for over 12 hours ( don't recall the exact amount but I know it sat overnight at the least ). Post-heating is a term I am not familiar with, sad to say. Could you describe the process...
  13. Lamination issue

A customer just brought back his truck after I had wrapped the tailgate for him a week or so ago. The laminate is coming off the vinyl where the vinyl was "tucked" around the edges of the tailgate. The vinyl is holding nicely, but the laminate is coming away from the vinyl at the edge. I...
  14. Outgassing

Thanks, great information. I was just about to build another huge table but I'll build a rack instead Ryan
  15. Outgassing

Stupid question, Does printed vinyl have to be laid out flat to outgas or can it be lightly rolled up? thanks Ryan
  16. Laminator Issue

I am using a cheaper laminate ( Tru-stock ). So that may certainly be an issue. On the left end on one of my rollers the laminate doesn't stay tight against the roller and in fact sometimes sticks to the top of my finger guard. I think it almost has to be some type of tension issue but I'm...
  17. Laminator Issue

We made the plunge into digital printing back in the late summer and it is going very well. We purchased a Royal Sovereign cold laminator to go with our printer. Laminating has been an adventure to say the least. I load the laminate as directed from RS's website. It is clear and smooth as...
  18. Old adhesive will not come off!! Ideas??

Just don't use the torch and the gasoline together ;)
  19. Problem with Corel and Versaworks

    That worked, thanks a million!
  20. Problem with Corel and Versaworks

For some reason Versaworks won't recognize the CutContour lines that I place in the designs to be cut. I have spent time on the phone with Roland, and when they send an eps. with cut lines, it is recognized and prints/cuts. I have even copied that file, imported it to versaworks and have it...
