  1. Suggestions agressive adhesive vinyl

I have been using a generic air release eco solve gray back vinyl for years. It is only $120 for a full roll, and the adhesive is extremely strong, and it is bubble free. No one has it anymore, and I need something that will be economical, and have a permanent adhesive for outdoor signs and...
  2. Roland RF 640 Nothing Printing

When I run the cleaning, a tiny amount of ink went in to the bottle once. I have run several other cleanings, without any ink moving.
  3. Roland RF 640 Nothing Printing

I have a Roland RF-640, about 4 years old. I bought it new. Last night it was printing fine, this morning I come in, and no ink comes out. The head is moving, the vinyl is moving, not a drop of ink. I cleaned five times, and the test prints don't have a drop of ink. Any assistance would be...
  4. RF-640 Main Board bad?

I have a Roland RF-640, it is 2-years old, and out of warranty for 7 weeks. When printing, it stops in the middle of the job, and goes back to the media size screen. It won't print a test print either, just moves like it is printing. I changed the bios battery, checked the fuses, updated the...
  5. Font help

I originally thought Helvetica, but it only matched the 5 and 3, Haettenschweiler is the closest I can come to matching all of the numbers, but the "I" isn't accurate. The numbers are just slightly off in Haettenschweiler. Thanks

  14. Rf 640

It is the metal cover. The head is higher on the right, by about 1/16", so it catches the top right screw on the housing every time it moves. Rolland know about this and has a "fix", but all they give you is a bag of washers. The washers lifted the housing so the head could pass. It is faster...
  15. Rf 640

I am now printing with my RF 640. On install we found a manufacturer error, where the head kept hitting the upper cover and would come to a stop. My installer had to add washers to the cover connect to bump it up, so the head could pass. We needed to do this on both ends. It calibrated...

I would love to have the latex as well, I was really impressed with the demo at the show, and I agree that I would be able to increase my time on everything that I would print. On the vehicle wraps, I spoke with someone that was just attending the show, and that was the info that he gave me. I...

roland vs hp I just got back from the SGIA show in Vegas, I purchased a Roland RF 640. I was comparing it to the HP as well. I really like the latex, but for me, it wouldn't work. I print on styrene as much as all the other medias. The latex still can't print on the styrene, so I went with the...
