  2. Latex Allergies???

Just wanted to know if someone with latex allergies and handle or touch prints coming out of a l25500? We are looking at a l25500 and don't need the liability of someone touching a sign and breaking out. We don't laminate any of our interior signs printed with solvent ink and have never had a...
  3. JV33 no power

    thank you.
  4. JV33 no power

When you say ports, I'm assuming you mean were the ribbon cables plug into the head. I re-installed the head and the second time i double checked everything. I did notice the green power button in the front lights up so i'm worried it is a main board not the PCB.
  5. JV33 no power

I just replaced the printhead in our JV33, and now it won't turn on. The screen clicks on and turns blue for a split second, then off and nothing. My guess is the PCB Board, any thoughts?

  8. X10 just Stops printing

We have a Epson GS6000 & a Mimaki JV33, and they have both just stopped printing in the middle of a print run. We are just printing large tiff files. I come over to the Rip and all the jobs have dropped down. Onyx says, Print Data Error...Print Aborted!!! WTF is a print data error? I...
  9. Roland vs Mimaki

Same thing here, we bought an Epson GS6000 and should have added another JV33.

  14. GS6000 take-up

Fixed We have it on our printer now and have run two 50 yard rolls through it without a problem :-)
  15. GS6000 take-up

We have it exactly paralell with the platen and it still walks back and forth. We have had this problem with this printer now for over 3 months and Epson refuses to get someone out here and fix it or show us what we are doing wrong. EPSON'S CUSTOMER SUPPORT SUCKS!!!!! THEY DON'T RETURN EMAILS...
  16. Epson GS6000 & Mimaki JV33 comparison

We have both printers. I agree with everything you wrote. Mimaki's uninterrupted ink supply is very handy for high output shops.
  17. GS6000 take-up

We got our GS6000, back in November, the take up hasn't taken up straight since. Epson refuses to sent out a tech, because they don't feel there is anything wrong with the printer. Our dealer said their hands are tied and all service calls have to go through Epson. The belt broke last week...
  18. Anyone having this problem-GS6000

Our Epson GS6000 is 3 months old and the belt broke. We still can't get the take up motor to take up the material straight. I've been using Mimaki's for the last 7 years and have never had these types of problems.
