When you say ports, I'm assuming you mean were the ribbon cables plug into the head. I re-installed the head and the second time i double checked everything. I did notice the green power button in the front lights up so i'm worried it is a main board not the PCB.

I just replaced the printhead in our JV33, and now it won't turn on. The screen clicks on and turns blue for a split second, then off and nothing. My guess is the PCB Board, any thoughts?

We have both printers. I agree with everything you wrote. Mimaki's uninterrupted ink supply is very handy for high output shops.

We got our GS6000, back in November, the take up hasn't taken up straight since. Epson refuses to sent out a tech, because they don't feel there is anything wrong with the printer. Our dealer said their hands are tied and all service calls have to go through Epson. The belt broke last week...

Our Epson GS6000 is 3 months old and the belt broke. We still can't get the take up motor to take up the material straight. I've been using Mimaki's for the last 7 years and have never had these types of problems.
