I would recommened a clear transfer tape so the customer is seeing what he/she is doing. I wouldnt use high tack because the vinyl may still stick to the transfer tape and not come off onto the window.

I did a 12x6 sign with .60 thickness i believe. So far, so good with everything. I believe they have a .40 something as well. I would stay away from that. When you drill it to a surface it bends, and makes it look very bad.
