We have a falcon jr and when the ink gets low I have to insert a new cartridge and suck the ink into the damper. Once I do this it works fine until its low again. I used to never has this problem. The sensor used to go off and I could put in a new one and never miss a beat. Any ideas?
I am hoping someone might have an idea on how to fix this or get a part for a reasonable price. I have managed to break the screw holder on the bottom of the carriage that secure the print head. I have the holder that goes with it but the gold threaded piece has broken and never to be found...
I am no expert but it sounds like the heads are clogged. When you put solution in the capping station and run a cleaning does it pull out the solution?
Update
After cleaning and I mean cleaning everything seems great now. I also manually adjusted the print heads and it's great. I did find something great for cleaning. We didn't have any swabs so I had an idea that I saw my wife use the other day. Cosmetic sponges. I was able to cut them...
I soaked it for a while and it seems to be doing better. I still have some random lines around objects. Not sure if its the alignment or debris on the heads. The broken part is the actual carriage that holds the heads.
The color head moves a little. Seems that the gold piece where the screw goes have been broken of the carrier. So there is really only one screw holding the color head in place. It has another screw that attaches to a small plastic piece. It was printing really good before christmas and it...
Can someone please look at this nozzle check and try to help me figure out what's going on? My prints are decent but there are some serious lines in it.
Thanks. I am sure this needs to be fixed asap I just need to see when we will have some down time to replace it. Do you think it could be fixed by trying to clean it? We have a service manual that show how to remove everything. I wonder if it could be salvaged by cleaning. I bet this...
I have a falcon jr and it seems like the wiper moves towards the front of the printer and doesn't hit the head. I have to manually push it all the way back so it will clean the heads to prevent them from dripping ink. Has something come loose to keep it from moving?
We are using flexi as our rip. Is there a better program to do this? How would adjust tagged profiles in flexi? Sorry for being so ignorant about this. Also, I haven't tried using relative much. We use perceptual for jpegs and bmp's and spot color and saturation for vectors. Not sure if...
it seems to be in good working order but sometimes the profiles are just goofy. I printed some pictures on the oracal 3951g profile on 3651 material and they look great. If I print them on the actual profile for the media the colors are just not as good. I can't figure that out. Also, I...
I need some help or an explanation for color correction. The guy who designs sometimes saves file with his profile embedded and sometimes not. My question is what exactly is the color correction tab for? Also, I need some help with different material profiles. The colors really seem to...
Recently acquired a falcon outdoor jr printer. We replaced the dampers, cleaned the lines and installed new print heads. We are using flexi pro 8 to rip our designs. I loaded some banner material that we ordered that was an off brand and wasn't sure which media to select since that one wasn't...
