On the Roland SP-300v it means 'scan motor overcurrent error 2' which means a small load has been put on the scan motor over a long period. Could be a problem with your roll feed jamming or putting too big a roll on the machine.
It's completely random here. Sometimes it's great for a month and other times it will freeze up two or three times in a day. Must have something to do with the moon aligning with mars or something.

Cleaned the encoder strip front and back and that worked for a while. Thanks. Eventually called a rep and had a new encoder strip installed. Everything is back to being great!
According to the Roland website the CutContour has to be spelled exactly like that with the caps, the color has to be 255 magenta and the thickness has to be 1 point (0.013). It works great with Illustrator eps files but I can't seem to get it to work with Corel eps files that some people send me.
On the second print after turning on the machine, the head starts printing about an inch to the right of the first print. It seems I have to power down and restart the machine every time I run a print. This just started happening today. Anyone have an idea what the problem could be?
