Uff. It was hiding in another part of the machine. (The wire run inside from where the usb go in).
It took m a while to find it...
This will reset the date only, or all the setting of the machine will go back to default?
I'll be able to change the date back to actual?
Sorry to crash the thread...
I can't change date to my jfx 200.
I heard the new model have a block. I have a job to print today and I need to find an immediate solution.
If you have another way to extend the expiration, or you know how to change the date back please let me know.
Sorry again to...
I have a new jfx 200- 2531
Some ink expired and I'm unable to print.
They told me to change the setting of the date so to trick the machine, but the set time function doesn't allow me to change the month and year anymore.
Any ideas? Thank you.
Two heads that were working perfectly, in the same group B, stopped firing at the same time...
I thought may have been the pump, since they share the same one, but if I do a medium cleaning I see discharge ink... So it means there is passage...
Could be an electrical problem? Is there any way...
The printer is waterbased, there is no jelly at all...
I'm afraid that was my mistake... I was so happily impressed with the nice flow of water in and out... I may have applied too much pressure... So I probably damaged the membranes? But shouldnt this stop my nice flow of water? I did it in...
My printer is water based. The cleaning solution is waterbased and supposed to be mix with water.
There is no solvent involved anywhere. Just a cleaning solution.
There is not a heater in the head.
I was just saying that my printer is a waterbased pigment (FJ 740 Pro 2) so it does not have the heater on the plate and in front of the printer to cure the solvent ink... For the rest the it is exactly the same as the solvent model... (SJ 740 or 540)...

Yes, water was coming down abundantly, so I thought I was good... I did also the sucking from a cup technique... (another head which is completely stuck -not on the machine- doesn't allow the water to pass throw at all...)
I never disconnected the head...
I moved the carriage all the way to...
I had a head clogged about 50%...
After many powerful wash I soaked the head in a warm distilled water/cleaning fluid solution, I did it with the head still in place, approaching the head from the bottom with a tiny container filled with the solution...
Still nothing...
I then took the damper...
FJ PRO 2 head clogged... now burnded?
Well,
I did my syringe with warm distilled water and cleaning solution... A print head was clogged about 50%...
Now nothing fires... But I have no error... Maybe I burned the head?
When this happen (a burned head) it just stop firing or it should give...
I need to replace the mainboard of my 250sp...
I could get a mainboard originally mounted on a 160sp...
How do I change that setting, after entering the service mode?
Thanks
m
:banghead::banghead:
Everythinbg done, still the problem persist...
Next step is a new main board...
I can get one originally on a 160 SP...
How do I switch the setting to a 250 SP? I'm told I can do it changing some parameter in service mode.
Thanks
m
I'm not sure which needle you are talking about.
You mean on the other side of the cartridge space? Facing the connector that touch the chip?
Thank you.
m
Do you mean on the printer side?
I did change those connectors entirely and replace them with new ones.
I also placed some spacer to have the chip on the cartridge to push out more so to have a better reach... No luck.
Thanks

I'm desperately looking for an Evolution 2 144"... But I don't have the budget to buy it new.
Anybody knows where I can find a used one, or a display one or a slightly defective (but operationally working)?
Thanks a lot!
m
I have a 250 SP.
It wasn't working for about two years. The lines were emptied and cleaned out completely.
It's now unable to read the Black and the Magenta chips in my bulk in cartridges.
I changed already the chips with a new one and I also change the receiving sensor without any results...
