Anybody want to share what they are paying for their warranty to HP on a 3600? We're on our 5th year of ownership and I think HP is trying to scam me.
  2. Interesting HP/Colorspan info

+1 I hate the cyan overspray. Fixed by lowering the head a 1/2 turn. And wiping off all the heads. I treat my print heads like a red headed step child. I wipe on them pretty hard and it works excellent. Eventhough they tell you not to. I print LOTS on my colorspan. HP is running out of...
  3. easiest way to clean a clogged head

Ok, maybe I'm just dumb and it took me all this time to figure it out. I had a falcon 46 that sat for about 4 weeks in the back room as we rearranged the shop (making room for an acquity advance!). heads were clogged, cross contamination, etc. I pulled off the damper and squirted a...
  4. Is this from a bad printhead? Opinions?

  16. Roland RS 640 v/s Océ CS9160 (Valuejet 1064) Help

1604 is a great machine... the print head difference is no big deal. Other than its cheaper to replace 1 of the heads in the roland than the one BIG head in the 1604. I have the larger 2606 which uses 6 heads... I have 2 bad head right now that are $1000 each to replace. I wish I was just...
