Currently running a VP-540i but considering a new machine given the Roland pricing in conjunction with the ISA show. I'm used to running 4 colors with my current machine, so any insight into the benefits of using 8 colors with the VG540? TIA for any insight.
Just started having this problem. After running about 10" of a print the machine goes into a cleaning cycle. I only use Roland Eco-Sol Max inks and manually clean the machine weekly or as needed. Printer status in VersaWorks shows no issues in printer status. Thank in advance if anyone has a...
I got tired of cleaning our stainless kitchen appliances. Between the doggie nose art and our two-year-old granddaughter's handprints it was never ending. And I know a guy!
Besides, it's the lowest maintenance aquarium we've ever owned.

Big shout out to Michael and SignCenter for a quick turn dye sub banner they did for me. Customer placed the order as I was on my way out of the country for a week. I was able to dropbox the file to SignCenter on the road and they delivered a great finished product.
New seafood market in Boothbay, Maine. Customer had the logo already developed and wanted two 6' circular signs for the side of the building. I talked them into a scallop-shaped outline and digitally printed the shell ridges/logo and applied to 6mm dibond routed to the proper shape.

This sign is heading to the new...
I purchased a 60W Epilog laser engraver a little more than a year ago to enable us to cut acrylic letters, etc. in house. And while we certainly use the machine for that purpose (general signage and letters), I'm finding a really big opportunity moving from B2B to the consumer market. Anybody...
Was asked to bid an installation job that will use Duravinyl 263. Never used the stuff before -- anyone have any experience with it? I did a quick search and looks like a wet application. TIA.
Customer called today and asked me to wrap their transom with mahogany Di-noc. Anyone use this stuff in a marine environment? The tech specs I was able to read from 3M made this sound like an interior only product. TIA.
New member here, and this time of year we're crushed with boat lettering jobs. Everyone's got a hard in-water date and all the jobs seem to be rush ($$). Here's today's project, which is pretty popular this year; traditional cut vinyl with a digitally printed highlight.
