  1. Matte Black Bumper

I've used Avery, and frankly I prefer 3M. I'm just curious, I checked out your website, and was wondering why you have a 3M logo at the bottom of your home page? For as much bashing as you've done about 3M, you would think that you would not want to be associated with them in any way. Yet, you...
  2. Matte Black Bumper

Who says you have to buy a whole roll? Fellers sells a lot of the specialty vinyls by the yard. I would use 3m 1080. I've used it before and I don't think it looks brown at all.
  3. Need Installers

Maybe you should reply to your pm's then. I sent you one a few weeks ago and never heard back from you. Not a big deal on my end, I've got plenty of work right now. But to ask for help and not respond to someone who offers, I don't get it?
  4. Installing vinyl over rivets with rollepro question

You can get the same results with a four dollar foam roller from Home Depot.
  5. New to wrap

Theres no need to be an ass isign. First of all nobody answered the question about what material or laminate until he asked the second time. Second, if he's " not going to listen" then why are you even wasting your time replying?
  6. What material is pylon and how do i remove this sign blank?

Why don't you just do the removal and application of the vinyl onsite. If you do it there it should not take more than an hour or two and you save some gas!
  7. Best way to remove vinyl from a banner...

That's good to know. I was going to pick some up but if it's gonna cause me to work harder, I'll just put up with the smell.
  8. Best way to remove vinyl from a banner...

Rapid Remover works well, but I can't stand the citrus smell. There's a new product, I think it's called adhesive off, supposed to smell like vanilla.
  9. Frogs!!!!!

Froggie went a courtin, and he did ride, uh-huh, Froggie went a courtin, and he did ride, uh-huh, Froggie went a courtin, and he did ride, With a sword and a pistol by his side, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh
  10. Painting on Pre-cast concrete

Have you thought about using 3m's ij8624 textured surface vinyl. Makes removal a lot easier than paint. Edit: I just noticed that the vinyl only has a 6 month outdoor durability. Definitely not a permanent solution.
  11. Adhesive on PolyMetal

3m VHB tape with .5" PVC for cleats
  12. Best way to install these faces?

What about a six foot long scissor lift? Make sure the ground is solid though, wouldn't want to get it stuck.
  13. Starting a sign installation company

This has been great feedback. Thanks to everyone who took the time to write a response, it is greatly appreciated.
  14. Starting a sign installation company

Thanks for the reply John L. I never thought something as simple as a picture could be such a touchy subject, but I want to do things the right way. It seems like I will not be posting any pics of work I will do for other sign shops and only pics of work I do for the actual owners of the signs...
  15. Starting a sign installation company

    Thanks Franken Signs!
  16. Starting a sign installation company

Thanks Firefox. Looks like i'll be starting out with a slim portfolio for a while. I definitely don't want to burn any bridges with employer.
  17. Starting a sign installation company

Thanks for the response CES020. I don't have a problem building my companies portfolio from scatch, just thought it would be nice to have something to display my quality of work to help draw some business.
  18. Starting a sign installation company

Hello everyone! I have been working at a national sign franchise for almost ten years now and i'm in the process of starting my own sign installation and wrap company. I'm very excited to finally be working for myself and have the ability to do things my way (the right way), and experiment with...
