I've used Avery, and frankly I prefer 3M.
I'm just curious, I checked out your website, and was wondering why you have a 3M logo at the bottom of your home page?
For as much bashing as you've done about 3M, you would think that you would not want to be associated with them in any way. Yet, you...
Who says you have to buy a whole roll?
Fellers sells a lot of the specialty vinyls by the yard.
I would use 3m 1080. I've used it before and I don't think it looks brown at all.
Maybe you should reply to your pm's then. I sent you one a few weeks ago and never heard back from you. Not a big deal on my end, I've got plenty of work right now. But to ask for help and not respond to someone who offers, I don't get it?

Why don't you just do the removal and application of the vinyl onsite. If you do it there it should not take more than an hour or two and you save some gas!

Have you thought about using 3m's ij8624 textured surface vinyl. Makes removal a lot easier than paint.
Edit: I just noticed that the vinyl only has a 6 month outdoor durability. Definitely not a permanent solution.
Thanks for the reply John L. I never thought something as simple as a picture could be such a touchy subject, but I want to do things the right way. It seems like I will not be posting any pics of work I will do for other sign shops and only pics of work I do for the actual owners of the signs...
Thanks for the response CES020. I don't have a problem building my companies portfolio from scatch, just thought it would be nice to have something to display my quality of work to help draw some business.
Hello everyone! I have been working at a national sign franchise for almost ten years now and i'm in the process of starting my own sign installation and wrap company. I'm very excited to finally be working for myself and have the ability to do things my way (the right way), and experiment with...
