  1. Roland Sp 540v question Please Help!!!

Head alignment might be the issue. Also, for blurry prints, you can consider in cleaning the encoder strip.
  2. Mimaki JV33 firmaware

Good one SightLine! Thank you! I said that it would be nice to give it a shot, but I guess I'm a little naive :). Thank you for the virtual slap :d. I'll contact the guy there. Thanks!
  3. Mimaki JV33 firmaware

I have to say that the printer I have is a Twinjet, a replica for Mimaki Jv33. Has the same board, head, damper...everything, the driver also. I would try to put a new firmware though I have some problems with ERROR 50 MEDIA DETECT. I saw in one thread here on signs.101 , that installing a new...
  4. Mimaki JV33 firmaware

  5. roland print and cutting errors

For print/cut you better use only the 2 main pinch-rollers.
  6. roland print and cutting errors

Use crop marks. This should eliminate all your problems. You can try to clean your encoder strip. Maybe there's some dirt there and this is where the problem comes up.

  8. Roland SP540v

Is there any lights blinking on your board? You can see them where the network cable is connected. If there is any lights blinking, then the board is fine. Try the network board of the computer. That might be the problem. You can find the IP of the printer using a small program named Printserver...
  9. Versacamm vp300 No magenta in test print

You've replaced cap-top and also dampers and still can't pull ink in the head? Then it's most likely that your manifold crashed. Or, there's something with the cassette, but I don't think so. Take a good look at the manifold and maybe you'll be able to identify your issue. Good Luck!
  10. it's here !!!!

    Speechless  Enjoy it!
  11. Xj-740

    Alternative bulk ink system?
  12. ROLAND INK or THIRD PARTY

    +1 good post!
  13. Cyan printing in Magenta spot...heeelp!

Powerful cleaning :)! If this won't work, check the cap-top lines from group A, also the pump lines, and see if the pump is working as it should. Also you can try to pull some ink through the Magenta cap-top tube using a syringe, then perform medium cleaning ---> test print. Hope that helps!
  14. SP-300 draining ink

    True.
  15. Blown F3 Fuse

Maybe the head cables are inserted wrong. If it's not on it's position, then the fuse will fry. Check out the head cables, take them out, see if the pins are OK, then put them back. Look at it twice before you start the printer. Good luck!
  16. SC500 not finishing cut.

Check out the offset of the blade. Do you know what type of blade is that?
  17. How do I remove the heads?

Head soaking sucks on DX2 and DX4 print-heads. If you want to "revive" the print-heads somehow, I think it's better to push some cleaning liquid through the nozzles using a syringe. Do it gently and everything will be ok... and you will have good results also(maybe). Remember: do not push hard...
  18. Vs540

VS is a very good acquisition! Think about the configuration you are going to use, I think 2x CMYK is best. Regards!
  19. buying a second hand vs new

Good one!! ...and also the truth!
  20. How do I remove the heads?

Hi, Falcon I,II?? The covers of the printing carriage are very easy to remove. DX2 print-heads for Falcon I, right? Carefully, remove dampers first, then you have 2 screws and a spring(take them out) and after you pull it out from it's location, just unplug the connectors(head cables)...
